A man has died hours after he was found with gunshot wounds beside a dead woman in a car, police say.
Victoria Police were called to a property on Adams Avenue in Rosebud about 4:25pm on Thursday, where they found the elderly pair inside the car.

Woman dead, man dies of gunshot wounds
A man dies in hospital after he was found with gunshot wounds next to a dead woman in a car in Rosebud. Vision courtesy Seven Network.
The woman was found deceased and the man in his 80s had life-threatening upper body gunshot wounds.
Police believe the couple were known to each other, and do not believe that a third party was involved.
The man was flown to the Alfred Hospital in a critical condition, and died on Thursday evening.
Police are preparing a report for the coroner. The investigation is ongoing.
