Bruce Springsteen announces three final shows for Oz 2017 tour

BRUCE Springsteen has added three final shows to his Australian tour.

Bruce and the E Street band will now play extra shows in Sydney, Melbourne and Perth.

They play Perth Arena on January 22, ahead of two sold out shows at the venue on January 25 and 27.

Melbourne’s second show at AAMI Park will be on Saturday February 4, again with guests Jet. Diesel has also been added to the bill for the Saturday show, as well as the sold out Hanging Rock show on February 11.

Jet and Diesel will also open at the Hunter Valley sold out show on February 11 — all other shows will feature only the E Street band as their shows stretch for over three hours.

The second Sydney show at Qudos Bank Arena will be on Thursday February 9.

These will be the last shows added to the tour, bringing the tour to 12 shows, plus a New Zealand leg.

Tickets for the new shows will go on sale Thursday November 10 at staggered times — 9am for Perth, 10am for Melbourne and 11am for Sydney — to try and cope with demand.

Springsteen’s memoir Born to Run was released last month, with an accompanying compilation Chapter and Verse. He was reportedly paid $10 million to write his autobiography.

Bruce Springsteen and the E Street band have sold over two million concert tickets worldwide this year.
