Berlin: Black July – Text and actions against the social peace (Germany)

Thursday, August 4th, 2016

While the situation in the rebellious Northern Part of Friedrichshain is calming down for the moment and we find time to build Rigaer 94 back up again, the social war around us is continuing with its normal intensity. We received news about the state attacks on people and squats in Thessaloniki. Here and there we are fighting against the social democracy and confront the social war with polymorphous struggle. Whether in the black july or in our daily local conflicts, we are involved in a common fight that gains power in its mutuality.

In this very moment, the greek state seems to be striking out with a general attack against autonomous structures. In Thessaloniki and in other cities, self-organized structures of migrants are especially becoming more and more endangered. While fullfilling its function as a manager of migration-streams, the state attacks those who try to move, self-determined, through a world of exploitation and oppression and who won‘t bow to it‘s authority.

Three occupied houses in Thessaloniki were affected and over a hundred people arrested. One person was killed during the eviction [Correction received: one day after the three evictions, a young migrant woman died due to medical negligence at one of the state’s detention facilities in Thessaloniki.]. In Athens, squats which are being used by migrants are also threatened with eviction. The goal is to create an atmosphere of fear, while oppressing those who are self-organising and attacking the authority of the state. (more…)

Report: Burst the dreams of investors – Defend Rigaer 94 (Germany)

Tuesday, July 12th, 2016

Before the demonstration the media and lots of politicians were nervous and expected a violent event on top of almost three weeks of actions in solidarity with Rigaer 94. For that they ordered 1800 cops from different parts of Germany.

The demonstration started almost on time at 21:15 at Wismarplatz in Friedrichshain with about 6000 people, after a manifestation of 45 minutes took place, where the speaker read some writings about the situation in the neighborhood these days. The first two lines were built by civil cops in yellow vests and after some cop cars before the real demonstration was visible. In the front they were holding lot’s of banners and signs. In the end it looked still organized and seemed to be a big beautiful black block.

When the demonstration reached Frankfurter Allee, the first big street, two cop cars were attacked with stones. People were showing their solidarity with fireworks and banner from the rooftop. (more…)

Call for a Black July, plus a chronology of actions in solidarity with Rigaer 94 (Germany)

Friday, July 8th, 2016

We appreciate the call for a Black July from Rigaer 94. Many comrades in a lot of countries followed the call for a Black December of Nikos Romanos (Greek Prisoner) . It’s not just about the Rigaer 94 that people now connect and think about strategies, attack different enemies of our freedom and struggle against the cops and the system.

Especially in Germany the fight against the system was weak the last years. People were not able to combine their fights and actions without dissociating from others. The question of violence was not discussed anymore and the alliances got wider and more in accordance to the system. Now there is a house that struggles without compromises, maybe their attitude impressed some of us, some still think that they should have brought their house themselves and could be “free” now. But the sign they send, saying that they keep their status and fight, now shows it’s effect on a lot of us. It’s a window that opens up for a short time that we should use to stand together. A moment when we are fucking angry and use our strength to go on the streets and take them back!

Thanks to all of you who used the concept of Tag X to show your solidarity with the Rigaer 94 and their ideas!

For a Black July

Let us feel the heat coming from our hearts to the streets every night

Berlin: Rigaer 94 Action Day 05.07.16 (Germany)

Tuesday, July 5th, 2016

Each day is Day X until we got Kadterschmiede back
…and until the existence of Kanal, Linie, Potse/Drugstore, M99 is no longer threatened.
The list of projects in Berlin facing eviction is long. The pressure on alternative living spaces and other places where me can meet up, exchange our ideas and develop alternatives is constantly increasing. So is our anger. We’re pissed off.

On June 22nd cops broke into R94 at 7:30am without prior notice. They were sent by a politician acting on the demands of a former Apartheid attorney. In the following process of eviction they destroyed most of Kadterschmiede, the yard and the ground floor and threw out everything that was left. Since then the rest of the house is under siege by security and cops.

The people living in R94 have been assaulted verbally, physically and sexually by the besiegers. They have lost any kind of privacy and are facing random controls when entering their home. People without papers who had been living in the house so they don’t have to face the dehumanizing situations in the Lager (=official refugee camps) before the attack had to rashly leave their homes and have been unable to return. Free the Warsaw Anarchist Three (Poland)

Friday, July 1st, 2016

Three anarchists were arrested by police in Warsaw, Poland, 23rd May 2016. The accusations are: possession of explosives and intending to use them by setting police car on fire. They are called terrorists by police and media, despite the fact, that the arson didn’t actually take place This accusations are quite serious- they face from 6 months to 8 years of jail. First hearings of the accused took place at District Prosecutor’s Office on 24th may. Marks of tortures were visible on their bodies. On 25th may, during prosecution session at district court, prosecution decided to hold them in custody for three months (that might be automatically prolonged). Since then, each of the three is detained in isolation, denied the right to communicate with relatives, during the first week of detention none of them had access to a lawyer.

Mass media in the service of the state reproduce authorities propaganda. Witch-hunt begun, creating mass hysteria and the image of the country threaten by terrorism. By doing this, the authorities and their collaborators are trying to justify the implementation of the new Anti-Terror Law. Significantly, just before the entry into force of the Act on 10th May, 23rd May and 30th May in several Polish cities a series of false bomb alarms took place, leading to evacuation of sites such as the editorial office of the press and television, shopping centers, and banks. Berlin: Rigaer94 under siege; Kadterschmiede evicted; hot days ahead… (Germany)

Thursday, June 23rd, 2016

Via contrainfo:

Comrades are currently mobilising in the streets to make the eviction as expensive as possible for the cops and the Berlin Senate. Below is today’s announcement by Rigaer94.

This morning, June 22nd 2016, at around 7.30am, approximately 300 cops, private security and construction workers came to our house in Rigaerstrasse 94. First, the construction workers cut out our doors and removed them. After securing their place in the house, the cops, construction workers and security, took position in the garden, the yard and on the roof, as well as in the staircases. Construction workers and cops joined together to carry out all movable objects they could find in the yard – bicycles, a bike shed, fridges, trailers etc. Our doors were removed and the frames knocked out, the phone and internet connection was cut. Only after our lawyer got access to the house, we were informed about the reason for the police action. (more…)

Pyhäjoki: both camps evicted, several arrested, one hospitalised due to police brutality (Finland)

Sunday, May 1st, 2016

Repression against those who oppose Fennovoima-Rosatom nuclear power plant project continues: and it’s getting worse and worse. On Friday 29.4. two protest camp sites got evicted at Pyhäjoki, Finland. Police operations were, on Finnish scale, massive.

Not big. Massive. Present were roughly 20 police vans, officers in riot gear, border patrol’s helicopter, sections from both national SWAT teams, dog units and specially equipped riot vans. Police declared the eviction of both camp sites by presenting a legally vague, written police order without even specified locations of the camp sites or other information. Just an order to leave and a declaration that police will arrest everyone “under the police law” it considers to “be connected to the locations” or “able to disrupt public order”.

The majority of the protest campers and Reclaim the Cape-action week participants grouped up and vanished into the forests without negotiating with the police.

As we speak, both sites are being emptied of infrastructure and belongings. Comrades are being searched and picked from the woods. Those been detained are being helped and awaited outside the cells. New campsite is under construction, but not public. (more…)

Undercover police officers spy on activists’ children and then demand right to ‘privacy’ and ‘family life’ (UK)

Thursday, March 24th, 2016

From The Canary:

The Undercover Policing Inquiry, chaired by Lord Justice Pitchford, resumed this week with legal arguments being made by the police which, if implemented, would essentially mean most of the inquiry being held in secret. Central to their position is a continuation of the policy of neither confirming nor denying (NCND) whether a person was an undercover officer.

However, whilst the lawyers for the police have been arguing that revealing the identities of officers would infringe their Article 8 right to privacy and family life, The Canary can reveal that police officers have been recording details of activists’ young children.

Mae Benedict put in a Subject Access Request to find out what information the domestic extremist units held on her. She believed she might have a file as she had been arrested in the past for environmental activism. She had also been close to the only known female undercover officer, Lynn Watson. However, she was shocked to discover her file left out details of “several arrests and a conviction” but contained details of her young child:

It made me furious that my kid is on a police file already, and mostly it was really intrusive. Instead of details of when I HAD been found guilty of a crime, the focus instead was on me as a parent, and, by default, my child as a child of mine. (more…)

Berlin: Burning cars and broken windows after police raid against Rigaer 94 (Germany)

Saturday, February 13th, 2016

Attack on police riot van in Friedrichshain during demo of Feb 6 2015

“R94 Lives!” read the fresh graffiti. Daubed in red paint across an office of Berlin’s ruling SPD scum, which lost its windows too, the slogan (since scrubbed off) referred to a massive police raid on an East Berlin squat on January 13, one of the largest and most controversial in Berlin’s recent history.

Following an attack of a police officer nearby, a 500-strong anti-riot team backed up by special forces, dogs and helicopters stormed into the so-called “occupied house” at 94, Rigaer Strasse (or “R94”) on Wednesday night. Police raided the two houses next door the following day and kept up a heavy stop-and-search presence till now.

Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D5Zth5-uiV8

Taking place at one of Berlin’s best-known anarchist project, the raid has sent shockwaves through the city, sparking a heated debate on whether it was a case of necessary public safety or unlawful police overreach. For the police and their defenders, the raid was an inevitable consequence of continuing disorder and antagonism coming from the squat. For their critics, the assault on the officer was an excuse used by the police to launch an only quasi-lawful attack on people who they disliked. (more…)

Berlin: Political projects of Friedrichshain’s northKiez call for a demonstration on 6/2 (Germany)

Sunday, January 24th, 2016

After the major offensive on Rigaer 94 by 500 cops, SEK, a K-9 unit and a helicopter, the northKiez of Friedrichshain is still under siege. There are constant controls all around Rigaerstraße and the streets are patrolled by massive swathes of cops.

We take the attack on the night of 13.01.2016 on Rigaer 94 and the assault on Liebig34 on the same evening as an attack on all of us! It is an affront to all of us that resist, organise, plan, act and network every day; against all those that cannot pay their rents anymore and get displaced.

To the cops and politicians speculation to be able to force us into capitulation and resignation by repression we respond: Forget it! We will not yield a centimeter! Now more than ever!

We are calling everyone, to go out on the streets with us on February 6th to fight against ‘danger zones’, police terror and displacement.

Call to action:
Defend rebellious structures, create neighbourhoods of solidarity!

Saturday 6th February 2016 | Berlin

Gathering at 16:00 in front of Wagenplatz Rummelplatz, Gürtelstrasse 26

Brescia: Claim of the attack on the police training centre and communiqué of Cellula Anarchica Acca (Italy)

Thursday, January 14th, 2016

During the night between 17th and 18th December we placed a device (8kg of gunpowder) at the police ‘training centre’ in Brescia. A symbolic action intended to cause material damage. We chose that time so as not to harm people indiscriminately.

With this action we began our projectuality of Anarchist attack as Cellula Anarchica Acca (C.A.A) in affinity with the black international, and add ourselves to the call for action for a BLACK DECEMBER.

We are joining this trajectory because:

We like the idea of an international coordination of anarchists for direct action.
Our idea of ‘complicity’ goes beyond groups and factions.
We are using the means we consider appropriate, seeking growth in the minimal details of the action. In that sense this action is nothing in terms of material damage, but it is important in arming our self-organization, especially at a time when we sense great resignation among anarchists in Italy.

We attacked one of the armed wings of the state. Cops from all over Italy and other states are trained at this ‘school’. This is also a little signal against war.

We are in solidarity with all those who struggle against all states and capital.
Our thoughts go to the many comrades who are repressed, locked up, tortured or killed at the present time and in the past. In solidarity with all prisoners in struggle.

This is a signal of complicity to those who are locked up: To Alfredo for shooting Adinolfi; to Chiara (NO TAV anarchist) for the attack on the construction site; to Nicola Gai, who with Alfredo kneecapped the Ansaldo managing director, which is the least he deserved; to Nico (NO TAV anarchist).

To Monica and Francisco, who are resisting in the Spanish prisons with simplicity and dignity.
To Tamara Sol, who showed us how to avenge our comrades.
To Nikos for his simple and humble contribution to a call for struggle.
To the comrades of the CCF.
To the comrades who struggle in prison and outside.

Reply to the text entitled ‘Under pressure’.
The main push to action is not pressure that makes us explode, but unlimited passion that liberates.
That is what pushed us to arm ourselves that night in Brescia: The passion of trying to free ourselves from exploitation, that of a life that deserves to be lived, the passion for freedom.
Passions are desires transformed into action, the most wonderful gestures of life in the face of the pervasive banality of the spectacle. It is this passion without limits that exploded that night in Brescia.

The questions we put to who wrote that text are:
Do actions not speak for themselves?
Why talk about actions now?

We didn’t like reading ‘this is the pressure that exploded that night in Brescia’, concerning that action, even it was written in ‘good faith’. We didn’t live it like that. Actions per se don’t always speak for themselves, and this is proof of it.

Anarchist Cell Acca

Dealing with “counter-terror” cops at the airport (UK)

Tuesday, January 12th, 2016

via RabbleLDN, also see – “Schedule 7″ – Important Advice for Anarchists Travelling To/From the UK.

Bristol Anarchist Chases Away Counter-Terror Police

Today at Stansted Airport, plainclothes police officers pulled aside a travelling anarchist (Tim from Bristol) and seemingly sought to coerce him into becoming an informant with a combination of intimidation, veiled threats, and offers of free alcohol. But when he started recording the officers on his mp3 player they quickly terminated the exchange and made a sharp exit.

He believes he was targeted by counter terror police because of his Anarchism, stating: “Anarchism is about ordinary people standing up to the rich and powerful – exactly what the police are there to prevent. These people claim to be protecting us, but they spend most of their time blacklisting trade unionists, spying on activists and harassing ethnic minorities.”

Here’s his full account of what happened today:

“As I was leaving the EU e-passport gate about 1pm today, I was approached by a man who came out from behind the desk to the left. He was a similar height to me, with short light brown hair/beard, and a light northern English accent. He said “Hi Tim, I’d like to have a word with you. I think you know what this is about”. I got my phone out and called a friend as soon as he started speaking. I told him I had a phone call which I needed to take. A man who had approached in the mean-time from the right, wearing a grey suit-jacket, asked me to turn my phone off. I repeated that I had to take the call. When my friend picked up I asked them to call my solicitor. (more…)

Santiago: Explosive device placed in the Comisaria de San Miguel (Chile)

Sunday, November 8th, 2015

From Noticias de la Guerra Social

At dawn on October 29, 2015, anonymous hands placed an explosive device in the 12° Comisaria de San Miguel. The device consisted of a fire extinguisher filled with black powder and it would have been placed around 2am. The bomb was placed near the intersections of Gran Avenida with Alvarez Toledo, close to the court of appeals in San Miguel and the Fiscalía Sur [Prosecutors of the Southern district], precisely at the gate of the police barracks.

Police bastards who were on duty at the police station noticed a suspicious bag in the police station perimeter, activating all security protocol.

To the place came the GOPE [Grupo de Operaciones Policiales Especiales / Police Special Operations Group] who managed to remove the device without it detonating, then they took it to their offices in Cerrillos to analyze it. Finally Renato Avellao, that bastard Colonel of this putrid institution stated: “There are security cameras throughout the environment of the barracks and it is through these images we will detect which person left the bag with the extinguisher on the side of the unit. It was in the hours of the morning.”
