Langwarrin Fire Brigade hosts twilight fete with market stalls and fun activities for children

HOLD on to your helmet, the Langwarrin Fire Brigade is hosting a twilight fete and everyone is invited.

Members will open their station for public tours at the November 13 event as well as host rescue demonstrations.

There will be market stalls, food vans, children’s activities, entertainment, art and craft, raffles and more.

Langwarrin Fire Brigade captain Clint Lawrey said it was the perfect opportunity for residents to speak to the brigade directly about fire safety.

“It’s never too early to start preparing your family and your home before summer — and we’re here to help,” Mr Lawrey said.

“Anyone interested in joining CFA, whether as a firefighter or in a support role, are also welcome to come along for a look and chat.”

The fete will be held at 184 Centre Rd, Langwarrin, 3pm - 7pm.
