Following a live album preview - a sold-out live three night residency at London’s Vortex in October - the lead single was “An Angel With No Halo” in December; this stirring slice of noir-ish psychedelic folk epitomised the truly unique flavour of the record, gaining early support from Huey Morgan, John Kennedy, Jamie Cullum, DJ Mag and Potholes In My Blog; and a stunning Prince Fatty Dub remix saw the revered Hollie Cook producer weaving the scintillating track into a pulsating haze. Continuing to build the buzz, a series of international album exclusives recently aired on BBC Radio 2 (UK), FIP (France), Radio Eins (Germany) and KCRW (US), unveiling more tracks to great acclaim.
The near future brings a free download of album opener “What Do You Know” (w/c 20th January, details TBA) plus confirmed appearances including an XFM session and a full band set at Tru Thoughts’ 15th Birthday @ Koko (22nd Feb).
In addition to his own studio albums and esoteric side-projects (the most recent of which, Nostalgia 77 and the Monster, led to heavy 6Music play from Stuart Maconie, and a live session for Cerys Matthews), Lamdin is constantly in demand as a producer and engineer. 2013 saw him lending his production talents to Valerie June, Teotima, Lizbet Sempa, Jason Yarde, Gail Brand, Robert Stillman and Brass Mask; as well as a range of work with Jamie Cullum, a relationship that has evolved from the latter’s long time admiration and support for Nostalgia 77 on his BBC Radio 2 show. Having produced two tracks on 'Momentum' (Island),Cullum’s current crossover LP featuring Roots Manuva, Lamdin has also recorded a complete album with the star, set for release this year.

For Lyss Remaly, weight was always an issue. "I was definitely that cute baby who looked like I had rubber bands on my wrists and arms," she says. "It's just not as attractive when you're 18."
At age 4, Lyss was already seeing a nutritionist for her diet and health issues. Family history played a role, but so did eating habits. "As much as I want to blame genetics, it's not like I helped the situation any," she says. "Yes my dad is a bigger guy, and all five of us kids are bigger, but I was also a closet eater. I hid what I ate—I'd hit the drive-thru and maybe eat four Whoppers and fries in my car before going home for dinner. I kept that horrible behavior going for years."
For years, the actress, jokester, and self-proclaimed funny girl hid behind jokes and her vivacious personality, until an embarrassing wake-up call forced Lyss to listen to her body.

Barack Obama
Barack Hussein Obama II (US 
i/bəˈrɑːk huːˈseɪn oʊˈbɑːmə/; born August 4, 1961) is an American politician serving as the 44th President of the United States, the first African American to hold the office. Born in Honolulu, Hawaii, Obama is a graduate of Columbia University and Harvard Law School, where he served as president of the Harvard Law Review. He was a community organizer in Chicago before earning his law degree. He worked as a civil rights attorney and taught constitutional law at University of Chicago Law School between 1992 and 2004. He served three terms representing the 13th District in the Illinois Senate from 1997 to 2004, and ran unsuccessfully in the Democratic primary for the United States House of Representatives in 2000 against incumbent Bobby Rush.
In 2004, Obama received national attention during his campaign to represent Illinois in the United States Senate with his victory in the March Democratic Party primary, his keynote address at the Democratic National Convention in July, and his election to the Senate in November. He began his presidential campaign in 2007 and, after a close primary campaign against Hillary Rodham Clinton in 2008, he won sufficient delegates in the Democratic Party primaries to receive the presidential nomination. He then defeated Republican nominee John McCain in the general election, and was inaugurated as president on January 20, 2009. Nine months after his inauguration, Obama was named the 2009 Nobel Peace Prize laureate.

Continuing to build the buzz, a series of international album exclusives recently aired on BBC Radio 2 (UK), FIP (France), Radio Eins (Germany) and KCRW (US), unveiling more tracks to great acclaim.
The near future brings a free download of album opener “What Do You Know” (w/c 20th January, details TBA) plus confirmed appearances including an XFM session and a full band set at Tru Thoughts’ 15th Birthday @ Koko (22nd Feb).
In addition to his own studio albums and esoteric side-projects (the most recent of which, Nostalgia 77 and the Monster, led to heavy 6Music play from Stuart Maconie, and a live session for Cerys Matthews), Lamdin is constantly in demand as a producer and engineer. 2013 saw him lending his production talents to Valerie June, Teotima, Lizbet Sempa, Jason Yarde, Gail Brand, Robert Stillman and Brass Mask; as well as a range of work with Jamie Cullum, a relationship that has evolved from the latter’s long time admiration and support for Nostalgia 77 on his BBC Radio 2 show. Having produced two tracks on 'Momentum' (Island),Cullum’s current crossover LP featuring Roots Manuva, Lamdin has also recorded a complete album with the star, set for release this year.

Following a live album preview - a sold-out live three night residency at London’s Vortex in October - the lead single was “An Angel With No Halo” in December; this stirring slice of noir-ish psychedelic folk epitomised the truly unique flavour of the record, gaining early support from Huey Morgan, John Kennedy, Jamie Cullum, DJ Mag and Potholes In My Blog; and a stunning Prince Fatty Dub remix saw the revered Hollie Cook producer weaving the scintillating track into a pulsating haze. Continuing to build the buzz, a series of international album exclusives recently aired on BBC Radio 2 (UK), FIP (France), Radio Eins (Germany) and KCRW (US), unveiling more tracks to great acclaim.
The near future brings a free download of album opener “What Do You Know” (w/c 20th January, details TBA) plus confirmed appearances including an XFM session and a full band set at Tru Thoughts’ 15th Birthday @ Koko (22nd Feb).
In addition to his own studio albums and esoteric side-projects (the most recent of which, Nostalgia 77 and the Monster, led to heavy 6Music play from Stuart Maconie, and a live session for Cerys Matthews), Lamdin is constantly in demand as a producer and engineer. 2013 saw him lending his production talents to Valerie June, Teotima, Lizbet Sempa, Jason Yarde, Gail Brand, Robert Stillman and Brass Mask; as well as a range of work with Jamie Cullum, a relationship that has evolved from the latter’s long time admiration and support for Nostalgia 77 on his BBC Radio 2 show. Having produced two tracks on 'Momentum' (Island),Cullum’s current crossover LP featuring Roots Manuva, Lamdin has also recorded a complete album with the star, set for release this year.

For Lyss Remaly, weight was always an issue. "I was definitely that cute baby who looked like I had rubber bands on my wrists and arms," she says. "It's just not as attractive when you're 18."
At age 4, Lyss was already seeing a nutritionist for her diet and health issues. Family history played a role, but so did eating habits. "As much as I want to blame genetics, it's not like I helped the situation any," she says. "Yes my dad is a bigger guy, and all five of us kids are bigger, but I was also a closet eater. I hid what I ate—I'd hit the drive-thru and maybe eat four Whoppers and fries in my car before going home for dinner. I kept that horrible behavior going for years."
For years, the actress, jokester, and self-proclaimed funny girl hid behind jokes and her vivacious personality, until an embarrassing wake-up call forced Lyss to listen to her body.
