SBS appoints John Godfrey Executive Producer, Factual

Internationally recognised Executive Producer and writer John Godfrey has been appointed Executive Producer - Factual at SBS.
John has an outstanding track record of developing and delivering quality, innovative and well-regarded factual programming across a range of genres.
He has produced everything from documentary to long-running popular culture series for broadcasters such as SBS, ABC, Channel Four and Discovery. Most recently, he worked at Becker Entertainment as Head of Development and Executive Producer.
John's credits in Australia include two series of One Step Beyond - a science series for Discovery International, the If Only series for SBS and four documentaries for Discovery International.
His career in the UK included the ground breaking Channel Four series Eurotrash and Passengers and he was Editor of i-D magazine and Deputy Editor of The Face magazine. Denise Eriksen, Manager, Commissioned Content at SBS said:
