Two young girls, reportedly sisters, have drowned in a backyard pool south of Brisbane.
Police were called to the home in Mayes Avenue, in the Logan suburb of Kingston, about 1.30pm.

A backyard pool at Logan where two sisters drowned on Tuesday was fully fenced, leaving family wondering "how they got in". Nine News
A police spokesman said two girls, aged 3 and 4, were pulled from the pool and pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said the drownings were not suspicious.
