Foreign relations is the management of relationships and dealings between two countries. Any results of foreign policy dealings and decisions can be considered foreign relations.
The term foreign evolved during the mid-13th century CE from ferren, foreyne "out of doors," based on the Old French forain "outer, external, outdoor; remote" reflecting the sense of "not in one's own land" first attested in the late 14th century CE. Spelling in English was altered in the 17th century, perhaps by influence of the words reign and sovereign. Both words were associated at the time with the most common office of monarch that determined foreign policy, a set of diplomatic goals that seeks to outline how a country will interact with other countries of the world.
The idea of long-term management of relationships followed the development of a professional diplomatic corps that managed diplomacy. Since 1711, the term diplomacy has been taken to mean the art and practice of conducting negotiations between representatives of groups or nations.
Ronald Ernest "Ron" Paul (born August 20, 1935) is an American politician, author, and physician, who is a former Republican congressman, two-time Republican presidential candidate, and the presidential nominee of the Libertarian Party in the 1988 U.S. presidential election.
Paul served as the U.S. Representative for Texas' 14th and 22nd congressional districts. He represented the 22nd congressional district from 1976 to 1977 and from 1979 to 1985, and then represented the 14th congressional district, which included Galveston, from 1997 to 2013. On three occasions, he sought the presidency of the United States: as the Libertarian Party nominee in 1988 and as a candidate in the Republican primaries of 2008 and 2012. Paul is a critic of the federal government's fiscal policies, especially the existence of the Federal Reserve and the tax policy, as well as the military–industrial complex, and the War on Drugs. Paul has also been a vocal critic of mass surveillance policies such as the USA PATRIOT Act and the NSA surveillance programs. Paul was the first chairman of the conservative PAC Citizens for a Sound Economy and has been characterized as the "intellectual godfather" of the Tea Party movement.

If I had read this the year after graduating high school, I very well might have wound up as Bill Cooper did (NO LOL)
One version says that the CFR is an organization sister to the Royal Institute of International Affairs (Britain), both founded in 1921 right after World War I when the League of Nations idea failed. The sole purpose of such organizations is to condition the public to accept a Global Governance which today is the United Nations. This is the true face of the so-called Globalists, and Centralized Power is what they are really after. Another version says that the CFR was founded in 1911 by J.P. Morgan, John D. Rockefeller, and Paul Warberg as an agent for the Rothschild banking empire. They controlled all the money and they wanted to control all the news media to shape debate and channel people's thinking along manageable lines. This was supposed to have been reported and entered in the Cong...

Not visually entertaining, but a great documentary! James Perloff exposes the subversive roots and global designs of the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR). Passed off as a think-tank this group is the "power behind the throne" with hundreds of top-appointed government officials drawn from its ranks - regardless of which party has occupied the White House. It began in 1921 as a front organization for J.P. Morgan and Company and by World War II it had acquired unrivaled influence on American foreign policy. In this presentation Mr. Perloff traces the CFR's activity from the Wilson to Bush administrations. A viewer (Catina Birdcage) sent me the video link and when I started listening to Myron Fagan, every word seems to concur with my understanding of what's going on in America and the world! Then I looked at the year of his birth and death and saw that he died in 1972! So, I asked, how could this man know all this, back in 1972? He must have read extensively and made notes, because he had it all! I highly recommend that everyone hear this series of videos! I found the text and it's up on the screen so you can follow! Sebastian Heilmann and Dirk H. Schmidt provide a comprehensive and discriminating view of the complex, often competing factors (domestic influences, regional tensions, global uncertainties) that shape Chinese foreign policy. They portray the Prc as a land of multiple identitiesa nation that is becoming more assertive in East Asia as it explores novel approaches to its foreign economic policies, while simultaneously displaying thin-skinned sensitivities when confronted with international criticism. The authors argue that unconventional approaches to foreign relationsin particular a unique combination of lon...

Now he traces the key characteristics of 'foreign encounters' over time, showing that myth, religion and ethical philosophies have always informed the way that societies have interacted with outsiders. This points us towards the future state of international r...
On Sept. 17th, 2016 the Schemel Forum hosted its annual University for a Day lecture series. President Jefferson’s policies and philosophy are often portrayed as riven with contradictions: he was the author of the Declaration of Independence and a slave-holder; a proponent of limited government who doubled the size of the country. This talk examines these contradictions by a review of Jefferson’s foreign policy and argues that Jefferson might best be viewed as a pragmatist in dealing with the realities of American politics and foreign relations in the earliest years of our nation. Their choices proved to be of enormous consequence for the development of American foreign policy in the final decades of the twentieth century and beyond.in A Superpower Transformed, Daniel J. The candidate countries also go through the same experience. The membership prospect however, presented a serious challenge to Turkish foreign policy and it was obvious from the moment Turkey was declared as a candidate country in 1999 that its membership perspective was linked to the solution of problems in its domestic and foreign relations. In this book, zlem Terzi examines the influence of the European Union on the making of Turkish foreign policy since it was declared a candidate country. By comparing an issue specific analysis ...

This second volume of the updated edition describes the causes and dynamics of United States foreign policy from 1865 to 1913, the era when the United States became one of the four great world powers and the world's greatest economic power. The dramatic expansion of global power during this period was set in motion by the strike-ridden, bloody, economic depression from 1873 to 1897 when American farms and factories began seeking overseas markets for their surplus goods, as well as by a series of foreign policy trium...
The Hidden Control of the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) More details here: The Revolutionary Roots of the UN The Power Elite behind the New World Order "There does exist, and has existed for a generation, an international Anglophile network which operates, to some extent in the way the radical Right believes the Communist act. In fact, this network, which we may identify as the Round Table Groups [comparable to the CFR in the USA], has no aversion to cooperating with the Communists, or any other groups, and frequently does so. I know of the operation of this network because I...was permitted for two years, in the early 1960s, to examine its papers and secret records." [Professor Carroll Quigley, Tragedy and Hope, p.950] "At the end of the war of 1914, it became clear that t...
When the activities at Bohemian Grove become blase to those in the know and remains unbelievable to the masses, our world will be thrown into chaos.
James Perloff returns to the show to discuss his research regarding the Council on Foreign Relations. We talk about the CFR's origins and its role in controlling U.S. foreign policy. We also discuss how the CFR manipulates the press, academia, and entertainment with the ultimate goal of building the New World Order.
In his groundbreaking (and bestselling) 1988 book, The Shadows of Power, author and researcher James Perloff meticulously documents the origins, aims and influence of The Council on Foreign Relations and its members. Today Perloff joins us to discuss the CFR, its acknowledged goal of preparing the American public for a new world order, and how it is working to accomplish that goal through the control of America's foreign policy apparatus... James breaks down the Council on Foreign Relations and the sinister side of politics. Also we discuss how America is assimilating into a very dark, nefarious archetype many consider a Satanic or Luciferian Agenda. Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif sits down with Margaret Warner of PBS to discuss Iranian foreign policy and the ongoing turmoil in the Middle East. Though Zarif is strongly supportive of efforts to oppose and defeat ISIS, he is skeptical of the potential effectiveness of American air power. He emphasizes that the fight should be for the Iraqis to win and notes that it is resentment of foreign intervention in the region that has fueled movements like ISIS to begin with. On the status of the ongoing nuclear negotiations, Zarif insists that Iran is prepared to agree to certain assurances that their nuclear program be used only for peaceful purposes and suggests that the ultimate stumbling block may be the reluctance of Congress to repeal economic sanctions. Speaker: Mohammad J...
