General Motors has produced three different engines called LT1:
Trans Am may refer to:
This video is about Maximizing Horsepower Output on LT1 Engines, from Firebirds, Camaros or Corvette's as long as the Throttle is Cable operated. The vehicle used for this video is a 4th generation Firebird Trans Am. Doing videos showing how to perform repairs is important because many people learn from them. However, doing videos like this one is fun, there is nothing like unleashing every bit of power contained on a V-8 Engine and see this Beast come Alive. ( Unleash the Beast)
Tips and part #'s to get you started!
In this video I show you how the steps it takes to remove the OptiSpark distributor from an LT1 and LT4 corvette. I believe this will apply to the Camros and Firebirds that also came with the LT1 motors, but I am not sure. I hope this helps you, and if it does, please be sure to share the video with other Corvette owners!
"The Best Bang for your Buck" out there, the '90s "pound for pound champ" when you compare dollar per performance, you just can't beat the LT1 Camaro/Firebird. Just shy of 300hp, a 6-speed transmission, high 13 second 1/4 mile times, and in this current market in 2015 they can be had for $2,000 to $5,000 range (lower for a project car, higher for an under 100k mile beauty. That's loads of car for the money. Through the '90s I had owned quite a few 5.0 Mustangs and 5.0 & 5.7 TPI Camaro/Firebird models, and around the late '90s-early '00s I finally bought my first LT1 powered F-body..... and I was very pleased with the performance. The LT1 would rev much higher than any 3rd Gen or Fox-body that I'd previously driven (after stepping out of a Tuned Port Injection F-body which matched LT1 torqu...

You're the king of downtown and
Nothing left to say
Cause you bled all believers then you
Washed it away
You're the king of downtown
And your jesters have stayed
But you've got nothin' comin'
Cause you got nothing left to say
Cause you're down

You've got nothing left to show
Can you feel it? Can you feel alright? Does it feel?
Can you take it? Can you take it down? Does it feel?
They had you to believe in
But you went away
Did you give them time?
It's good you went away
Gonna take it? Gonna take it down? Gonna feel
