Double Trouble (Frankie Miller album)

Double Trouble is the fifth album by Frankie Miller. The album took shape in April 1978 at the Record Plant in New York, with Miller receiving backing from drummer BJ Wilson from Procol Harum, guitarist Ray Russell, two-man horn section Chris Mercer and Martin Drover, and keyboardist and vocalist Paul Carrack, who co-wrote five of the songs with Miller. Steven Tyler from Aerosmith also makes a guest appearance as backing vocalist

Date with the Angels

Date with the Angels is an American sitcom that aired on ABC from May 10, 1957 to January 29, 1958. The series, which stars Betty White and Bill Williams, began as a late season replacement for The Ray Anthony Show for the same sponsor, Chrysler's Plymouth division. Tom Kennedy was the show's announcer and spokesman for Plymouth.

Synopsis

The series revolves around newly married Vicki Angel and her insurance salesman husband Gus Angel who get themselves and their friends and neighbors into various comedic situations. Besides Betty White and Bill Williams, the series also featured for several episodes Richard Deacon, Richard Reeves, Maudie Prickett and Burt Mustin.

Among the series' guest stars were Nancy Kulp, Madge Blake, Joan Vohs, Chuck Connors, Reta Shaw, Dave Willock, Sid Melton, Russell Hicks, Hugh O'Brian, Hanley Stafford, and Willard Waterman.

The show's theme song was "Got A Date With An Angel", a semi-standard introduced in 1932 and long associated with the orchestra of Hal Kemp.

Michael Jerome "Jerry" Tuite (December 27, 1966 – December 6, 2003) was an American professional wrestler. He was best known for his appearances with World Championship Wrestling from 1999 to 2001 under the ring names The Wall and Sgt. A.W.O.L., as well as his appearances with Total Nonstop Action Wrestling in 2002 and 2003 as Malice.

Professional wrestling career

Early career (1994-1999)

Born in Ocean Grove, New Jersey, Tuite broke into the wrestling business in 1994 after learning the ropes under veteran Mike Sharpe at his training school in New Jersey. Tuite trained at the WCW Power Plant before he wrestled full-time as The Wall in WCW. He was also a protégé of Bam Bam Bigelow.

The Wall (1999-2000)

Tuite debuted in World Championship Wrestling in 1999 as a bodyguard for Berlyn, then later moved to the singles division. The Wall and Berlyn had a feud with Vampiro and Jerry Only of the Misfits. The feud led to WCW Mayhem where Berlyn and Vampiro fought in a chain match, which Berlyn lost after The Wall walked out.

Canine terminology in this article refers only to dog terminology, specialized terms describing the characteristics of various external parts of the domestic dog, as well as terms for structure, movement, and temperament. This terminology is not typically used for any of the wild species or subspecies of wild wolves, foxes, coyotes, dholes, jackals or the basal caninae. Dog coats

A Stanford University School of Medicine study published in Science in October, 2007 found the genetics that explain coat colors in other mammals such as in horse coats and in cat coats, did not apply to dogs. The project took samples from 38 different breeds to find the gene (a beta defensin gene) responsible for dog coat color. One version produces yellow dogs, and a mutation produces black. All dog coat colors are modifications of black or yellow. For example, the white in white miniature schnauzers is a cream color, not albinism (a genotype of e/e at MC1R.)

Stop (Spice Girls song)

"Stop" is a song by the British pop group Spice Girls. It was written by the group members with Paul Wilson and Andy Watkins—the songwriters and production duo known as Absolute—at the same time as the group was filming scenes for their movie Spice World. "Stop" was produced by Wilson and Watkins for the group's second album Spiceworld, which was released in November 1997.

"Stop" is an dance-pop song with influences of Motown's blue-eyed soul, and features instrumentation from a guitar and a brass. The music video, directed by James Brown and filmed in Ireland, features the group in a traditional 1950s working class street and showed them playing with young girls in various children's games. The song received mostly positive reviews from music critics, with many of them complimenting the Motown influences and production. "Stop" was performed by the group in a number of live appearances in Europe and North America including their three tours.

Released as the album's third single in March 1998, it peaked at number two on the UK Singles Chart behind "It's Like That" by Run-D.M.C. vs Jason Nevins, ending the Spice Girls' streak of consecutive number-one singles in the on the chart at six. It was moderately successful internationally, peaking inside the top twenty on the majority of the charts that it entered. In the United States, "Stop" peaked at number sixteen on the Billboard Hot 100 becoming the group's sixth consecutive top twenty on the chart. It was the group's last single that was released before Geri Halliwell's departure in May 1998 though it was not the last single to include her vocals.

Stop (Omar Naber song)

"Stop" was the Slovene entry to the Eurovision Song Contest 2005, sung by Omar Naber and performed in Slovenian, despite its English title and the fact that there are two different English lyrics.

There are two different orchestrations of the song, which were recorded, the version used at the Eurovision was the later version. Both orchestrations were used for both Slovenian and English versions, however the English lyrics were changed for the newer orchestration. Hence why there are two sets of English but only one Slovenian set.

A year later, the song was rerecorded, some sources say it was in Croatian, others say it is Serbian. Due to the similarities in both languages, it is difficult for non-speakers of the languages to be certain. Only the later Eurovision orchestration was used for this version.

On the night of the semi-final, the song performed twenty-third, following Ireland's Donna and Joseph McCaul with "Love?" and preceding Denmark's Jakob Sveistrup and "Talking to You". At the close of voting, it had received 69 points, placing twelfth in a field of twenty five, failing to reach the final, and relegating Slovenia to the semi-final in the next contest for another year.
