Konya is a city in Turkey, on the central plateau of Anatolia. It is the capital of Konya Province, which is the biggest Turkish province in terms of area. Bergama is a city and its depending district in Turkey, in northwestern Anatolia, 16 miles from the Aegean Sea, about 100km north of Izmir, located on a promontory on the north side of the Bakircay river. It is due east of the island of Lesbos. The ruins of the ancient city of Pergamon or Pergamum lie to the north and west of the modern city. Çanakkale (pronounced ), is a town and seaport in Turkey, in Çanakkale Province, on the southern (Asiatic) coast of the Dardanelles (or Hellespont). Çanakkale is the second province (first one is Istanbul) in Turkey that has lands on two different continents (Europe and Asia). There are ferries to cross to the northern (European) side of the strait. Troy is a legendary city and center of the Trojan War, as described in the Epic Cycle, and especially in the Iliad, one of the two epic poems attributed to Homer. Today it is the name of an archaeological site , the traditional location of Homeric Troy, Turkish Truva, in Hisarlık in Anatolia, close to the seacoast in what is now Çanakkale province in northwest Turkey, southwest of the Dardanelles under Mount Ida. Bursa is a city in northwestern Turkey and the capital of Bursa Province. It is Turkey's fourth largest city. It was known in the antiquity and the medieval period with the name Prusa. The city is famous for its ski resorts (on the mountain of Uludağ), the mausoleums of Ottoman sultans, and the surrounding fertile plain. It is also the home of some famous Turkish foods, especially chestnut desserts and a meat dish called İskender kebap
