A series of cold fronts are generating showers over SA, VIC, TAS and southern NSW. Warm northwesterlies ahead of a trough are bringing a warm morning to NSW and QLD. Wispy high cloud over southern QLD is associated with a low pressure trough further south and is not triggering any rain. Patchy low cloud along the tropical coast with onshore winds is causing the odd shower. Skies are otherwise clear under a high pressure ridge.
