A three-year-old boy has died after his parents found him unconscious in the family's swimming pool last week.
Emergency services were called to a home in Croydon South on October 25 after the toddler was found floating in the backyard pool.
The little boy was rushed to hospital, but died on Sunday October 30.
A police spokeswoman said the matter was not being treated as suspicious.
"Police will prepare a report for the coroner," she said.
In Australia, 26 children drowned last year, according to the Royal Life Saving Society.
