The 11th in the series of 14 'Texas Rangers' westerns from P.R.C. that starred Dave O'Brien and Jim Newill, before Newill was replaced by Tex Ritter in the concluding eight films of a very bad 22-films series: Lillian Wilkins and her old Civil War Veteran Uncle Jed Wilkins own a ranch through which a pipeline will be laid. They are unaware of this but Dan Tyndall, Joe Hyslop and Tom Binns are aware of the possibilities for a quick profit and set out to prove through crooked-surveyor Sam Brisco that the land has been improperly surveyed and not rightfully the possession of the Wilkins. They go to family friend and attorney Kendall Lowther for advice and this is not a good move as Lowther is actually the brains behind the scheme to beat them out of their property. But Texas Rangers Tex Wyatt and Jim Steele show up to take a hand on the side of the Wilkins. That also means that Panhandle Perkins, accompanied by Lee Zahler's horrific comedy scoring, will also show up. Wilkerson's comedy and Zahler's music is enough to make one root for the villains. This one has so many villains that Bud Osborne is relegated to playing a good guy role.

Climaxing a long series of mysterious disappearances of young girls, dancer Thalia Arnold is found murdered. Police-detective Captain McVeigh believes that King Peterson, a nightclub operator and owner of the Crescent School of Fine Arts, knows something about the missing girls. Peterson's silent partner is Joseph Thompson, a theatrical agent, whose daughter, Nora, a reporter, is waging a newspaper crusade against the district attorney's office for failing to trace the girls, much to the discomfiture of James Horton, a young assistant district attorney. Pauline Randolph is the next to disappear but Nora had seen her leaving her grandmother's home in a car driven by a blonde woman. Nora interviews the grandmother who tells her that Pauline had theatrical employment, along with one of her friends, Mary Phillips. When the police begin investigating the Crescent talent-school, Thompson, who knew the Arnold girl intimately, quarrels with Peterson over the school, which, Thompson claims, will land them both in jail. In a lineup of all the showgirls from Peterson's nightclubs, Mary tries to identify the mysterious blonde who picked her and Pauline up, but she is unable to do so. The blonde, Kate Neslon, telephones Horton to come to her apartment and she will give him information about the missing girls, but he and Captain McVeigh find her dead in her apartment. Nora, who thinks Peterson doesn't know she is Thompson's daughter, decides to audition for the School of Missing Girls.

Tex put the Kern gang away once but they have returned with reinforcements and have take over the town of Red Rock capturing the townsmen and forcing them to work for them in the gold mines. Dave and Tex then organize the ranchers into the Territorial Rangers. After blowing up the mines to keep the gang from getting the gold, they are ready for the showdown between the two sides.

Elmer Clifton, (March 14, 1890, Toronto - October 15, 1949, Los Angeles) was an American writer, director, and actor from the early silent days. A collaborator of D. W. Griffith, he appeared in The Birth of a Nation (1915) and Intolerance (1916) before giving up acting in 1919 to concentrate on work behind the camera. Clifton was the first film-maker to discover the talents of Clara Bow, who he successfully cast in Down to the sea in ships, released on March 4, 1923. In the sound era, Clifton wrote and directed many low-budget Westerns, along with anti-marijuana Assassin of Youth (1937) and Not Wanted (1949), which was finished by Ida Lupino. Clifton became ill during the filming of Not Wanted and died in 1949 of a cerebral hemorrhage shortly after the film's release.

The 11th in the series of 14 'Texas Rangers' westerns from P.R.C. that starred Dave O'Brien and Jim Newill, before Newill was replaced by Tex Ritter in the concluding eight films of a very bad 22-films series: Lillian Wilkins and her old Civil War Veteran Uncle Jed Wilkins own a ranch through which a pipeline will be laid. They are unaware of this but Dan Tyndall, Joe Hyslop and Tom Binns are aware of the possibilities for a quick profit and set out to prove through crooked-surveyor Sam Brisco that the land has been improperly surveyed and not rightfully the possession of the Wilkins. They go to family friend and attorney Kendall Lowther for advice and this is not a good move as Lowther is actually the brains behind the scheme to beat them out of their property. But Texas Rangers Tex Wyatt and Jim Steele show up to take a hand on the side of the Wilkins. That also means that Panhandle Perkins, accompanied by Lee Zahler's horrific comedy scoring, will also show up. Wilkerson's comedy and Zahler's music is enough to make one root for the villains. This one has so many villains that Bud Osborne is relegated to playing a good guy role.

When the police begin investigating the Crescent talent-school, Thompson, who knew the Arnold girl intimately, quarrels with Peterson over the school, which, Thompson claims, will land them both in jail. In a lineup of all the showgirls from Peterson's nightclubs, Mary tries to identify the mysterious blonde who picked her and Pauline up, but she is unable to do so. The blonde, Kate Neslon, telephones Horton to come to her apartment and she will give him information about the missing girls, but he and Captain McVeigh find her dead in her apartment. Nora, who thinks Peterson doesn't know she is Thompson's daughter, decides to audition for the School of Missing Girls.

They are unaware of this but Dan Tyndall (Robert Barron), Joe Hyslop (Bob Kortman) and Tom Binns (Frank McCarroll) are aware of the possibilities for a quick profit and set out to prove through crooked-surveyor Sam Brisco (Jack Ingram)that the land has been improperly surveyed and not rightfully the possession of the Wilkins. They go to family friend and attorney Kendall Lowther (Charles King) for advice and this is not a good move as Lowther is actually the brains behind the scheme to beat them out of their property. But Texas Rangers Tex Wyatt (Dave O'brien) and Jim Steele (Jim Newill) show up to take a hand on the side of the Wilkins. That also means that Panhandle Perkins (Guy Wilkerson), accompained by Lee Zahler's horrific comedy scoring, will also show up. Wilkerson's comedy and Zahler's music is enough to make one root for the villains. This one has so many villains that Bud Osborne is relagated to playing a good guy role.

No group has yet claimed responsibility for the Medina attack or two other attacks in the kingdom on the same day — one near the U.S. Consulate in Jiddah and the other at a Shiite mosque in the east of the country. The bomber has been identified as 34-year-old Abdullah Qalzar Khan, an Interior Ministry statement said. He lived in the nearby Red Sea port city of Jiddah with “his wife and her parents.” The statement didn’t elaborate....
