Andrew and Hannah met, found love at first sight...no joke...got engaged within 5 days of knowing each other and got married a few days after that! Life’s up’s and down’s hasn't always come easy and yet their love for each other and their kids continue to grow daily! The Slyfox Family does everything they can to live each day like it's their last. With family and friends taking risks, having adventures, facing obstacles together and sometimes just sitting around doing nothing :) Andrew & Hannah have been married for almost 11 years! They have two children, Jaedyn (9 years old) and Caspian (4 years old).

This video captures many long stories made short.... the true highlights of it all.
One Thing Remains.... This is the song that I first heard during one of the saddest times of our lives...and I clung to it... writing the lyrics down and sticking them on the fridge. We listened to it at Brooks's funeral.... I listened to it often through our adoption journey, sang it as my flights were delayed, sang it as we landed in the US.... and I can now put it to this video which celebrates one of the happiest times in our lives.It fit perfectly. It is a wonderful and important reminder to me. With all my heart, I believe God is with us, through the good and the bad... and he remains good all of the time.
When I watch this, I don't see something that we did. We never could have done this. All we did was follow His lead. Never have we felt a pull so strong to just trust. We weren't eligible to adopt, and the expenses for two were more than we made each year. But 19 months later, a debt-free adoption was completed, and our family is together. Against all odds....
We are so thankful to everyone who helped us make this happen. May this serve as a testimony. May this help you follow His lead....

One of the most frequent questions we are asked about is how the adoption process works. Every situation is unique, just like every child is unique. What some experience may be totally different than what others experience.
In today's video, I share with you the basic 101 for adoption, what the general steps are (although regulations do vary state to state, and country to country), and some basic preparations to help you get on your way. Adoption
Adoption is a process whereby a person assumes the parenting of another, usually a child, from that person's biological or legal parent or parents, and, in so doing, permanently transfers all rights and responsibilities, along with filiation, from the biological parent or parents. Unlike guardianship or other systems designed for the care of the young, adoption is intended to effect a permanent change in status and as such requires societal recognition, either through legal or religious sanction. While the modern form of adoption emerged in the United States, forms of the practice appeared throughout history. Our Haitian Adoption Story
This video captures many long stories made short.... the true highlights of it all. One Thing Remains.... This is the song that I first heard during one of the saddest times of our lives...and I clung to it... writing the lyrics down and sticking them on the fridge. We listened to it at Brooks's funeral.... Andrew and Hannah met, found love at first sight...no joke...got engaged within 5 days of knowing each other and got married a few days after that! Life’s up’s and down’s hasn't always come easy and yet their love for each other and their kids continue to grow daily! The Slyfox Family does everything they can to live each day like it's their last. With family and friends taking risks, having adventures, facing obstacles together and sometimes just sitting around doing nothing :) Andrew & Hannah have been married for almost 11 years! Short History of Slyfox Family
Andrew and Hannah met, found love at first sight...no joke...got engaged within 5 days of knowing each other and got married a few days after that! Life’s up’s and down’s hasn't always come easy and yet their love for each other and their kids continue to grow daily! The Slyfox Family does everything they can to live each day like it's their last. With family and friends taking risks, having adventures, facing obstacles together and sometimes just sitting around doing nothing :) Andrew & Hannah have been married for almost 11 years! They have two children, Jaedyn (9 years old) and Caspian (4 years old).
They also have a great dane named Phoebe (4yrs old)

This video captures many long stories made short.... the true highlights of it all.
One Thing Remains.... This is the song that I first heard during one of the saddest times of our lives...and I clung to it... writing the lyrics down and sticking them on the fridge. We listened to it at Brooks's funeral.... I listened to it often through our adoption journey, sang it as my flights were delayed, sang it as we landed in the US.... and I can now put it to this video which celebrates one of the happiest times in our lives.It fit perfectly. It is a wonderful and important reminder to me. With all my heart, I believe God is with us, through the good and the bad... and he remains good all of the time.
When I watch this, I don't see something that we did. We never could have done this. All we did was follow His lead. Never have we felt a pull so strong to just trust. We weren't eligible to adopt, and the expenses for two were more than we made each year. But 19 months later, a debt-free adoption was completed, and our family is together. Against all odds....
We are so thankful to everyone who helped us make this happen. May this serve as a testimony. May this help you follow His lead....

My wife and I adopted a little boy. He came to us with a trash bag over his shoulder. We were so moved by this image that we decided to make a short film entitled "Palms". This short film was honored and became a winner at the 2013 International Family Film Festival in Los Angeles, California. Palms is the story of a foster child in search of a forever family who is holding his heart in the palm of their hands. PLEASE SEE ENTIRE MOVIE to get meaning of 'Palms'.
