Bars and Melody—Leondre Devries and Charlie Lenehan—perform the Japanese version of their hit song Hopeful at an event at Venus Fort, a shopping, dining and entertainment complex in Tokyo, to launch their Japanese début album.

Bars and Melody are Leondre Devries and Charlie Lenehan, a rapping and singing duo who were Britain's Got Talent 2014 finalists.
After the show, Bars and Melody were signed by Simon Cowell. Their début, anti-bullying single Hopeful came out in July 2014.
Leo and Charlie have since released further singles, their début album 143 and their Teen Spirit EP, have toured extensively across the world; and have a huge fandom, not only in the UK, but also, especially, in Poland and in Japan, where they have been signed by Avex, one of Japan’s largest record labels.

We are so proud to be ambassadors for the Princess Diana Anti-Bullying Programme. We regularly do events and make content promoting this amazing programme and are so happy we can help people through their problems in any way.

Simon Cowell
Simon Phillip Cowell (/ˈkaʊəl/; born 7 October 1959) is an English television talent judge and mentor, music and television producer, music talent scout (aka A&R executive) and entrepreneur.
