Idea

Etymology
The word idea comes from Greek ἰδέα idea "form, pattern," from the root of ἰδεῖν idein, "to see."
Innate and adventitious ideas
One view on the nature of ideas is that there exist some ideas (called innate ideas) which are so general and abstract that they could not have arisen as a representation of any object of our perception, but rather were in some sense always present. These are distinguished from adventitious ideas which are images or concepts which are accompanied by the judgment that they are caused or occasioned by an external object.

Sugar
Sugar is the generalized name for sweet, short-chain, soluble carbohydrates, many of which are used in food. They are carbohydrates, composed of carbon, hydrogen, and oxygen. There are various types of sugar derived from different sources. Simple sugars are called monosaccharides and include glucose (also known as dextrose), fructose and galactose. The table or granulated sugar most customarily used as food is sucrose, a disaccharide. (In the body, sucrose hydrolyses into fructose and glucose.) Other disaccharides include maltose and lactose. Longer chains of sugars are called oligosaccharides. Chemically-different substances may also have a sweet taste, but are not classified as sugars. Some are used as lower-calorie food substitutes for sugar described as artificial sweeteners.
Sugars are found in the tissues of most plants, but are present in sufficient concentrations for efficient extraction only in sugarcane and sugar beet. Sugarcane refers to any of several species of giant grass in the genus Saccharum that have been cultivated in tropical climates in South Asia and Southeast Asia since ancient times. A great expansion in its production took place in the 18th century with the establishment of sugar plantations in the West Indies and Americas. This was the first time that sugar became available to the common people, who had previously had to rely on honey to sweeten foods. Sugar beet, a cultivated variety of Beta vulgaris, is grown as a root crop in cooler climates and became a major source of sugar in the 19th century when methods for extracting the sugar became available. Sugar production and trade have changed the course of human history in many ways, influencing the formation of colonies, the perpetuation of slavery, the transition to indentured labour, the migration of peoples, wars between sugar-trade–controlling nations in the 19th century, and the ethnic composition and political structure of the New World.

Bob Mould
Robert Arthur "Bob" Mould (born October 16, 1960) is an American musician, principally known for his work as guitarist, vocalist and songwriter for alternative rock bands Hüsker Dü in the 1980s and Sugar in the 1990s.
Early years
Born in Malone, New York, Mould lived in several places, including the Minneapolis-St. Paul area where he then attended Macalester College. There, he formed Hüsker Dü in the late 1970s, with drummer/singer Grant Hart and bass guitarist Greg Norton.
Musical career
Hüsker Dü
Forming in 1979, Hüsker Dü first gained notice as a punk rock group with a series of recordings on the independent label SST Records. In 1986, they signed with a major record label (Warner Bros. Records), but found only modest commercial success. However, they were later often cited as one of the key influences on 1990s alternative rock, including bands such as Nirvana and the Pixies.
In the late 1980s, Hüsker Dü broke up acrimoniously amid members' drug abuse, personal problems, disputes over songwriting credits, musical direction, and the suicide of the band's manager, David Savoy. Mould and Grant Hart, the band's other songwriter and vocalist, still take occasional jabs at each other in the press, though the two briefly revisited their Hüsker Dü back catalog together at a 2004 benefit concert for an ailing friend, the late Karl Mueller of Soul Asylum.

Once i started thinking about "Cupcakes", ponies named after fruit flavors, and looking at more of his art i know i had to make a "vore song" to capture it all. While I'm not really a huge fan of this interesting fetish i think its great to look at what's wonderfully weird within this fandom, not make snap judgements, and enjoy some things outside your own tastes. I'm sorry, I love the idea of them, but Cadbury Cream Eggs aren't good. They taste like they're filled with sugar paste, and combine that with the very sweet chocolate outer-shell and they just make my teeth hurt and give me a headache. I'm sorry, I love the idea of them, but Cadbury Cream Eggs aren't good. They taste like they're filled with sugar paste, and combine that with the very sweet chocolate outer-shell and they just make my teeth hurt and give me a headache. I wish I could like them, and every few years I try them again, but every time the result is just the same. I don't feel well. I mean no ill will toward those of you out there who find them delicious, but I can't get into them. That's just the way it is for now. Maybe some day they'll change the formula and I'll be able to find them more tasty, but as of right now, I just can't do it. I just can't.

Welcome to a new series with the Madison County Public Library called: What's on the Stove? Each month we ask a different local chef to come in to the library and share some of their favorite recipes with us. This month we have Carrie Watson. Fire Cider
Adapted from Rosemary Gladstar
Finely chop/grate any or all:
Fresh Horseradish
Fresh Ginger
Fresh Turmeric
Fresh Onion
Fresh Garlic
¼ or ‘to taste’ cayenne pepper
Anything else you deem to possess healthful qualities (elderberries, black pepper etc.)
Add all these to a pint, quart or larger vessel containing raw, unfiltered Apple Cider Vinegar. Let steep for at least 4 weeks, shaking the jar daily so as to help the ingredients macerate. Once the desired strength has been reached, strain out the solids and add local honey or maple syrup to taste. Keep stored in the refrigerator and use often. Use in place of vinegar in marinades, dressings, or drink straight as a healthy ‘shot’!
Brunswick Stew
Adapted from The Foxfire Book
*No amounts are specified as it all depends upon how much you want to make and what your personal tastes dictate. Make a lot, make a little. Make it strong, make it bland. You decide and play around with the recipe.
Meat any amount, any combination (I use whatever I have; venison, pork, beef, chicken, rabbit, lamb, squirrel and/or goat.)Potatoes diced, cubed, however you want it
Lima Beans frozen is fine, fresh is better
Corn see above
Carrots cut in rounds, diced, however
Onions diced
Celery diced
Tomatoes home-canned is best, home-frozen is just as well, canned will do.
Catsup homemade or organic, store bought. Keep those GMO’s outta your meal.
Soup Stock Chicken, beef, or vegetable
Chili Powder
Salt
Pepper
Worcestershire Sauce
Fire Cider or Apple Cider Vinegar
Brown Sugar
In a large pot, sauté your onions, celery and carrots in olive oil or butter over medium heat. Get them good and hot and let them cook till their colors become vibrant and the smell is out of this world. Before the veggies burn, add your meat chunks and sear them on all sides and get them started cooking. While that is going on in your pot, get together your potatoes, lima beans and corn. Add these to your pot along with the liquids; stock, tomatoes (crushed, whole, diced. Bring it all up to a boil so as to thoroughly cook your meats. Now for the fun part, add to taste: catsup, chili powder, salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce, fire cider and brown sugar. I generally use way more of these ingredients than what sounds like a good idea, but boy is it good! Bring back down to a simmer so as not to lose all your liquids and make your meat rubbery.
Herb –Dressed Bread
Adapted from Hot Food, Warm Memories, by Barbara Napier
Warm Water about a cup
Dry Yeast about a tablespoon
Sugar about ¼ cup if you like it sweet, 2 Tablespoons if you like it less so
Salt to taste
Whole Wheat Flour about a cup
All-Purpose Flour enough to make a dough that holds together, around 2-3 cups
Olive Oil enough for drizzling over the top of the bread
Egg One for brushing the loaf before putting in the oven
Fresh Herbs Rosemary, Sage, Basil, whatever you have and desire to use
Combine your water, yeast, whole wheat and sugar in a large bowl and let sit so that the yeast can activate and you see it beginning to bubble and froth a bit. Once this happens, add your salt and begin to slowly add your all-purpose flour stirring until it comes together enough to dump onto a floured surface and begin kneading. Keep adding flour if you need to in order to handle the dough, but do it slowly. Knead the dough until it’s elastic and supple to the touch. It should not be sticky, but it shouldn’t be like a brick, either. Let the dough have a bit of a rise, maybe 20 minutes or so. You don’t need to let it rise for a long time because there is so much yeast in it, it will go quickly. Once you’ve prepared your baking pan, knead the dough to get the “poof” out of it and divide it into 3 even segments. Braid the three segments together and place on the baking sheet. Set your oven to 425 degrees and while it preheats break your egg in a cup and add about a teaspoon of water to it. Mix it up till it’s a smooth consistency and paint the top of your braided bread with this. Pop in the oven, and bake till done. Probably about 25 minutes. While the bread is baking, cut up your herbs and mix with your olive oil. Once you’ve removed the bread from the oven, drizzle the oil over the top. Let bread cool before slicing, otherwise you’ll get soggy, mushy bread in the middle!
