Some additional tips and notes that I didn't mention in this video...
- You don't have to load film in the dark. You will expose a couple feet of film but the remaining 48 feet will be fine. Just make sure you load in a shaded area and not in direct sunlight.
- If you don't have an extra roll of 16mm film to practice loading your camera with, you can cut a few feet off of a fresh roll of 16mm film and just practice with that.
- http://K3camera.com is a great website to go to and is filled with tons of great info on learning more about the K3 camera.
- When your 16mm camera is not in-use its best to hold down the trigger and run out the drive spring so camera isn't wound.
- If your light meter doesn't go all the way down to "0" when sensor is covered, there is a flathead screw on the back that you can turn and fine tune your meter.
- If you are shooting outside with lots of light, you will insert the "high" slide plate found on the back of light meter into the light sensor. You will then line everything up with the "red arrow" instead of the "white arrow".

Beim Ausräumen unseres Archives haben wir diesen historischen Kemper 16mm Film gefunden. Soweit es möglich war, wurde der Film „ entstaubt" und digitalisiert. Der Film gibt eine komplette Übersicht über aller Kemper Produkte in die zweite Hälfte der 60-er Jahren des letzten Jahrhunderts.
During a clean-up of our archive we have found this historic Kemper 16 mm film. After dusting it off we digitized it. The film gives a complete overview of all Kemper products in the late sixties of the past century.

Here we go with a lens that I really enjoyed working with. It's designed for APS-C cameras but it will fit full-frame as well...with vignetting. I love the 16mm focal length, and f/2 is a very nice maximum aperture for such a wide angle lens, and as for sharpness...well you'll have to watch and find out!

16 mm film
16 mm film is a popular, economical gauge of film. 16 mm is the width of the film. Other common film gauges include 8 mm and 35 mm. It is generally used for non-theatrical (e.g., industrial, educational) film making or for low budget motion pictures. It also existed as a popular amateur or home movie making format for several decades, alongside 8 mm film and, later, Super 8 mm film. In 1923, Eastman Kodak released the first 16 mm "outfit" consisting of a camera, projector, tripod, screen and splicer for $335. RCA-Victor introduced a 16 mm sound movie projector in 1932 and developed an optical sound-on-film 16 mm camera, released in 1935.
History
Eastman Kodak introduced 16 mm film in 1923 as a less expensive amateur alternative to 35 mm film. During the 1920s, the format was often referred to as sub-standard by the professional industry.
Kodak hired Willard Beech Cook from his 28 mm Pathescope of America company to create the new 16 mm Kodascope Library. In addition to making home movies, people could buy or rent films from the library, a key selling aspect of the format.

- http://K3camera.com is a great website to go to and is filled with tons of great info on learning more about the K3 camera.
- When your 16mm camera is not in-use its best to hold down the trigger and run out the drive spring so camera isn't wound.
- If your light meter doesn't go all the way down to "0" when sensor is covered, there is a flathead screw on the back that you can turn and fine tune your meter.
- If you are shooting outside with lots of light, you will insert the "high" slide plate found on the back of light meter into the light sensor. You will then line everything up with the "red arrow" instead of the "white arrow".

Some additional tips and notes that I didn't mention in this video...
- You don't have to load film in the dark. You will expose a couple feet of film but the remaining 48 feet will be fine. Just make sure you load in a shaded area and not in direct sunlight.
- If you don't have an extra roll of 16mm film to practice loading your camera with, you can cut a few feet off of a fresh roll of 16mm film and just practice with that.

During a clean-up of our archive we have found this historic Kemper 16 mm film. After dusting it off we digitized it. The film gives a complete overview of all Kemper products in the late sixties of the past century.

This is a vintage 1940s Ampro Premier 10 16MM Projector. In this video, we will service its 6V6 push-pull tube amp and see how it sounds with a guitar plugged into it. We will also discuss some of the obsolete technologies used in old 16MM projector equipment like phototubes. Tubes are 5Z4 rectifier, three 6V6, one 6J5, and one 6J7. There is also an RCA 927 phototube in the projector portion for optical sound reproduction.
