Victoria Police calling for help to find missing baby Mia, mother Abuk Garang

THE SEARCH for a missing three-month-old and her mother from Melbourne’s west has entered its third day.

Police are searching for baby Mia and her mother Abuk Garang and authorities have appealed for public assistance, concerned for the kid’s welfare.

Ms Garang, 27, was last seen at a residential property in Sunshine West on Wednesday and is known to frequent the same area.

Meanwhile, in another missing person’s case, police are looking for two teenage girls also from Sunshine West.

The search for Meleane Fangaake, 16, and Rachael Fangaake, 14, has entered its second day.

The pair was last seen at Lachlan Rd, Sunshine West on Thursday and have not returned to their Warrington Rd home since.

“Family have concerns for their welfare due to their age and the length of time that they have been missing,” a police statement read.
