Danny Green already gearing up for clash with Anthony Mundine at Adelaide Oval

DANNY Green has wasted no time in kicking off his preparations for his February fight against Anthony Mundine in Adelaide.

Green was seen sparring with trainer Angelo Hyder at a balcony of the Hilton Hotel as he found some time out from promoting the fight.

The 43-year-old said he had already started preparing for the anticipated rematch, which, as revealed by The Advertiser, will take place at Adelaide Oval and is expected to draw at least 37,000 people.

“I train like a demon day in and day out,” Green said. “I live to train and feel absolutely fantastic.”

Green, who owns a gym in Western Australia and has also made it his quest to help ordinary blokes get fitter, said he had also cut out refined sugar from his diet and was having a break from his beloved beer.

Green is yet to nut out the details of his preparations for the February 3 fight, and whether that includes having a camp somewhere, but he will arrive in Adelaide in the weeks leading up to the fight to acclimatise.
