Argentina: 'La Puta de las Putas' protesters march for abortion rights in Buenos Aires1:38

Hundreds of feminist activists under the slogan 'Let's talk about consent' marched through Buenos Aires on Saturday, to demand the complete legalising of abortion as well as to denounce violence against women. The aim of the protest, organised by 'La Puta de las Putas' movement, was to raise awareness about sexual violence and to advocate for access to safe and legal abortions. Member of the group Giuliana Salguero took aim at the US President-elect Donald Trump, stating ?The patriarchy tries to defend itself in all its expressions and Trump is another expression of that patriarchy,? before adding ?he stroked us without feeling any political cost for it, and however, women in the US are making him feeling it." Currently, abortion is permitted in Argentina only when the life or the health of the mother is in danger and in the case of rape. Due to these restrictions, an estimated 500,000 illegal abortions take place each year.

USA: Nationalists celebrating Trump's victory scuffle with anti-fascists in DC2:02

Several counter-protesters were arrested after scuffles broke out between themselves and nationalist protesters, who were rallying in support of President-elect Donald Trump, in Washington D.C. on Saturday. Members of a white nationalist group, who gathered to celebrate the victory of Trump, were confronted by hundreds of counter-protesters holding anti-fascist signs and chanting "No Donald Trump, no KKK, no fascist USA." The rally took place outside the Ronald Reagan Building, where a white nationalist think tank, National Policy Institute (NPI), was holding its annual conference. The NPI has been listed as hate group by the Southern Poverty Law Centre, a non-profit legal advocacy organisation specialising in civil rights. The counter-protesters expressed their concerns over the ties this group might have with Trump.
