Milimap is a 100% Open Source web app. Take it, install it, break it, do what you want with it! It was developed as a cooperation between a few organisations because we needed a responsive web-app in which we can, in the simplest way possible, map some objects across the world, and comment & upload photos of these locations. We couldn’t find one online, so we developed Milimap.

Super Simple

Milimap is simple to install for developers. If you are a project manager, NGO worker, activist or someone else who doesn’t know how to handle server installations and database imports, and don’t care about this technical mumbo-jumbo, contact us with your request and we can help you with the implementation and modification of Milimap for your purposes.

Exactly what we needed

We wanted to map unused military property in Croatia, with the option for users to comment and upload photos. Quite simple, but we couldn’t find any free, Open Source solution which was stripped down of all the unnecessary options. In a cooperation with Rational International, we developed MILIMAP, and now we realize there are countless uses for this tool. Use it!

Even though we developed Milimap for a client, we agreed that we want to make this Open Source. As soon as we showed it to our partners and friends, they told us they needed this tool for mapping things ranging from Squatted houses in Amsterdam, to great surfspots in Marocco.
