The Luberon or Luberon Massif (Provençal Occitan: Leberon in classical norm or Leberoun in Mistralian norm), also called Lubéron, has a maximum altitude of 1,256 m and an area of about 600 km². It is composed of three mountain ranges: (from west to east) the Little Luberon, the Big Luberon and the Oriental Luberon, lying in the middle of Provence in the far south of France. The valleys north and south of them contain a number of towns and villages as well as agricultural land.
The total number of inhabitants varies greatly between winter and summer, due to a massive influx of tourists during the warm season.
It is a favourite destination for French high society and British and American visitors because of the pleasant and picturesque towns and villages, comfortable way of life, agricultural wealth, historical and cultural associations (e.g., Samuel Beckett lived in Cave Bonelly, a vineyard near to Roussillon, during World War II), and hiking trails.
In the 1970s, people came from all over France to "Le Luberon" in search of a communitarian ideal.

Travel video about destination Provence. Marseille is the oldest city in France, the country’s largest commercial harbour and the capital of Provence, an enchanting region full of contrast. The most impressive religious building in Marseille is a fortified monastery church that dates back to the fifth century, the mighty Abbaye Saint Victor. Along the highway, oleanders bloom against a backdrop of austere, sun-filled landscapes, the very same that inspired the Post-Impressionists. Ever since Peter Mayle abandoned the London fog and described with sensual relish a life of unbuttoned collars and espadrilles in his best-selling A Year in Provence, the world has beaten a path here. Complain up your sparks
With my back against the end
Without in any place
Even as the headache days
To the being
Want a lot of nerves
To the gate in the black mill
Without in any ways
How to wean
Even like the second curse
To the king
How to wean
Even like the second curse
To the king
I'm waiting for the doorway horse
I was standing at the motion north
I lay on the backseat
Busy from the bless we take
Without in any days
How to wean
Even as the secons words
Not to leave
How to wean
Even as the second words
Not to leave
In some places the drop off from force
To the faces
Feeding up the doors
How to wean
Even like the second curse
Not to leave
How to wean
Even as the second words
Not to leave
How to wean
Even as the second words
