The protesters gathered outside the U-N office and chanted anti-Saudi slogans. They condemned the deadly airstrikes that targeted a funeral gathering in Sana'a and demanded justice for the victims. Over 140 Yemenis were killed and some 620 injured in Saturday’s airstrike. Riyadh and its allies say they will investigate what they describe as a regrettable and painful strike. They say the coalition is also willing to provide the investigation team with any information related to its Saturday military operations. The U-S says it is reviewing support for the Saudi-led coalition following the deadly attack. ...
The White House has announced an “immediate” review of US support for the Saudi-led coalition in wake of a funeral hall bombing in the Yemeni capital, Sanaa, that left over 150 dead and hundreds injured. Washington, which has been a major arms supplier to Saudi Arabia, appears to have distanced itself from Saturday’s devastating bombing that took place amid Saudi-led airstrikes against Houthi rebels in Yemen, saying it was “deeply disturbed” and promising to review its military support for Riyadh.

US-led coalition airstrikes continued to hit ISIS positions in northern Iraq, as ground forces move closer to the terror group's main Iraqi stronghold in Mosul, the largest city the group still controls in the country. On September 15, the coalition hit what it called an Improvised Explosive Device factory near Mosul. The September 15 strike came just three days after airstrikes on what Operation Inherent Resolve officials called an ISIS headquarters facility that was used to produce chemical weapons.
Yemen's Houthi-run administration has blamed the Saudi-led coalition for an airstrike in the capital Sanaa that killed more than 140 people. The coalition denies any role in Saturday's attack, and says it will investigate the strike. The Saudi-led coalition air strikes on a funeral hall in Yemen's capital Sanaa on Saturday have killed 82 people and injured 534 others, acting Health Minister Ghazi Ismail told reporters at a press conference on Saturday night. A mourning ceremony was held for the father of the acting interior minister and rebel Houthi loyalist Jalal al-Ruwaishan. Two air strikes firstly bombed the vicinity of the big hall, and people fled to the outside. Eyewitnesses said that a third strike hit the hall directly afterwards, where hundreds of people were offering condolences to al-Ruwaishan. Some witnesses said senior Houthi officials and their ally former president Ali Abdullah Saleh were in the hall. Streets leading to the hall were all closed by pro-Houthi security forces.
