Number 10. He believes Earth is on its last legs. He gives the planet a thousand years before it succumbs to its own fragility. Hawking recommends people start shopping around space for a new home base.
Number 9. Stephen Hawking attended an all-girls school for a time. His family moved to St. Albans while his father was working in a nearby city. It was there that he and a few other boys attended St. Albans High School for Girls.
Number 8. In his youth his nickname was 'Einstein'. Despite the fact that his grades were mediocre, his aptitude was noticed by teachers and students alike. They were right, as he later earned a nearly perfect score on his Oxford scholarship physics exam -- and went on to become a highly celebrated genius.
Number 7. He believes black holes are different from what we think they are. The vortices of doom are said to have event horizons, which serve as both an entrance and a point of no return. Hawking says they don't. Rather, they have 'apparent horizons' and only briefly trap energy and matter, later releasing it as radiation.
Number 6. At 21 Hawking was told he only had a few years to live. He was diagnosed with ALS, also called Lou Gehrig's disease, and that the outlook was grim. In January of 2014 the physicist celebrated his 72nd birthday.
Number 5. He's also a children's book author. In 2007 he and his daughter Lucy published 'George's Secret Key to the Universe', the first book in a series about a young space traveler.
Number 4. He's a big fan of zero gravity. Hawking was among the first with his disability to test out the technology that can send a plane to near space, and in the process got a few moments away from his wheelchair. Said one person who was there, "He would have flown more if we let him."

About Stephen Hawking
Prof. Hawking is one of the world’s leading physicists and cosmologists. He is an English theoretical physicist, cosmologist, author and Director of Research at the Centre for Theoretical Cosmology within the University of Cambridge. His scientific works include a collaboration with Roger Penrose on gravitational singularity theorems in the framework of general relativity, and the theoretical prediction that black holes emit radiation, often called Hawking radiation. Hawking was the first to set forth a theory of cosmology explained by a union of the general theory of relativity and quantum mechanics. He is a vigorous supporter of the many-worlds interpretation of quantum mechanics.
He is an Honorary Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, a lifetime member of the Pontifical Academy of Sciences and a recipient of the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the highest civilian award in the United States. Hawking was the Lucasian Professor of Mathematics at the University of Cambridge between 1979 and 2009 and has achieved commercial success with works of popular science in which he discusses his own theories and cosmology in general; his book A Brief History of Time appeared on the British Sunday Times best-seller list for a record-breaking 237 weeks.

Vegetable
In everyday usage, a vegetable is any part of a plant that is consumed by humans as food as part of a savory meal. The term "vegetable" is somewhat arbitrary, and largely defined through culinary and cultural tradition. It normally excludes other food derived from plants such as fruits, nuts and cereal grains, but includes seeds such as pulses. The original meaning of the word vegetable, still used in biology, was to describe all types of plant, as in the terms "vegetable kingdom" and "vegetable matter".
Originally, vegetables were collected from the wild by hunter-gatherers and entered cultivation in several parts of the world, probably during the period 10,000 BC to 7,000 BC, when a new agricultural way of life developed. At first, plants which grew locally would have been cultivated, but as time went on, trade brought exotic crops from elsewhere to add to domestic types. Nowadays, most vegetables are grown all over the world as climate permits, and crops may be cultivated in protected environments in less suitable locations. China is the largest producer of vegetables, and global trade in agricultural products allows consumers to purchase vegetables grown in faraway countries. The scale of production varies from subsistence farmers supplying the needs of their family for food, to agribusinesses with vast acreages of single-product crops. Depending on the type of vegetable concerned, harvesting the crop is followed by grading, storing, processing and marketing.

Marketing can be done locally in farmer's markets, traditional markets or pick-your-own operations, or farmers can contract their whole crops to wholesalers, canners or retailers.
Profitable vegetable farming requires attention to all production operations, including insect, disease, and weed control and efficient marketing. The kind of vegetable grown is mainly determined by consumer demands, which can be defined in terms of variety, size, tenderness, flavour, freshness, and type of pack. Effective management involves the adoption of techniques resulting in a steady flow of the desired amount of produce over the whole of the natural growing season of the crop. Many vegetables can be grown throughout the year in some climates, although yield per acre for a given kind of vegetable varies according to the growing season and region where the crop is produced.

NORTH BEND, OREGON — An unknown illness appears to have spread from one woman to four other people in Oregon, including two deputies, and caused them to have hallucinations. According to KVAL News, the incident began at around 3 a.m. on Wednesday, when a 57-year-old caregiver reported someone vandalizing her car outside the home where she works in North Bend. A deputy responded her report but found nothing. The caregiver called the police again several hours later. The deputies then suspected the woman might be having hallucinations caused by medical issues. The video shows a man wondering around a graveyard late at night filiming his way to see if he were to see something paranormal roaming around, and in fact he did. 2. The Crying Ghost
This might possibly might be one of the few times you wont feel bad about seeing someone cry. And I say possibly because that someone could be a paranormal looking creature in one of the corners of your house, just like in the footage about to be shown. People think that the humanoid looking creature shown in this video is a ghost but what do you think? Here it is....
3. Small Unknown Creature
In the video your about to see, 2 young kids appear to be playing with a video camera and kicking a soccer ball when all of a sudden, something very small and weird looking runs across one of the rooms in the house where the kids were playing at. People believe that the mysterious looking creautre shown in this video is the so called famous Goblin, also known as the small annoying creeper. But not everyone is 100% sure as to what it is exactly. So you be the judge on this one, here...is the footage.
4. The Hampton Court Sighting
The video your about to see was recorded in the Hampton Court Palace which is one of the British royal palaces located in Richmond upon Thames, London. Inside the CCTV security camera, a ghostly cloaked figure can be seen opening and closing one of the doors of the Palace Graveyard again and again.. Further analysis of the footage shows the ghostly looking figure with a skeletal face which was given the nickname "Skeletor". And if you didnt know, the Hampton Court Palace happens to be one of the most haunted places in the UK... Anyways, enough with the talk right? Here...is the footage.
5. The Unidentified Creature
In the footage about to be shown, a guy is seen walking in the Weld Valley located in Australia in a peaceful afternoon. After recording all day to capture his first visit into the Weld Valley, the anonymous person recording gets home and is completely shocked after he sees what he has accidently caught on camera. By the looks of it, the strange looking creature about to be shown looks like an alien but it is still unidentified as of today. So YOU be the judge...Here....is the video.

At 4am on Christmas Eve a tagged shark was eaten by a massive unknown sea creature

Documentary Filmmaker Dave Riggs and his crew, who tagged a large number of great white sharks off the coasts of Bremer Bay in Australia, encountered something very unusual.
One of the tags of a large shark was discovered washed up on shore.
The tag had no signs of algae, but instead appeared to have been heavily bleach by stomach acid.
Using satellite tracking, they were able to pin point the exact time the shark was mysterious attacked and eaten.
-Why this is mysterious
This is mysterious for 2 reasons
1.) The data showed the tag taking a sudden 1902 foot drop down the continental shelf which indicated that the shark had just become prey to something big and very fast.
2.) After further examination, it was revealed that the tag had been ingested by an animal with an internal temperate of around 78 degrees Fahrenheit, 32 degrees higher than
than the great white's normal temperature.
-Plausible Explainations?
Some people suggested that it could have been an orca, they are certainly large enough, with the biggest on record being 32 feet long and they have been known to hunt
great white sharks, however, the problem with this theory is that killer whales generally stay near the surface and the deepest an orca has ever been recorded was 850 feet
while this unknown creature was nearly 2,000 feet deep.

Shortly after she was released, the two deputies who handled the caregiver began having hallucinations and had to be hospitalized. The woman who was cared by the woman and a hospital employee also began exhibiting symptoms of hallucinations and had to be hospitalized.
The Coos Bay Hazmat Team has not yet found the source of the contamination, but they said the illness appears to be passing through human contact.
