DeSean William Jackson (born December 1, 1986), nicknamed "D-Jax", is an American football wide receiver and return specialist for the Washington Redskins of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the University of California, Berkeley, and was recognized as a consensus All-American. He was drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles in the second round of the 2008 NFL Draft. Jackson has been selected to the Pro Bowl three times, and was the first player selected to the Pro Bowl at two different positions in the same year when he was named to the 2010 Pro Bowl as a wide receiver and return specialist.
Jackson was born in Los Angeles, California. He attended Long Beach Polytechnic High School, the same high school as future Eagles teammate Winston Justice and many other current NFL players. He became one of the top wide receiver recruits in the nation, with many collegiate football programs pursuing his services. He was named the 2004 Glenn Davis Award winner by the Los Angeles Times as Southern California's player of the year. He also ran track and played baseball and was scouted by both the Tampa Bay Rays and Philadelphia Phillies in his senior year. In track, he was timed at 10.5 seconds in the 100 meters.

http://www.fantasyfootballoverdrive.com/ While Aaron Rodgers(notes) was talking to FOX's Pam Oliver after the Green Bay Packers wild-card win over the Philadelphia Eagles, he was interrupted by Philly's DeSean Jackson(notes), who proceeded to give him one of the best postgame man-hugs you'll ever see: That's the ultimate in postgame, conciliatory handshaking: a little violence, a little showmanship and a big, genuine embrace. And how great is Rodgers: He doesn't act the least bit surprised, fully executes the hug and then gets back to the interview without missing a beat. I love it. It's how I imagine Lee surrendered to Grant at Appomattox. (And leave it to DeSean Jackson to know exactly when the camera was live on Aaron Rodgers. I can't imagine that was an accident.) OTA’s are over and they went without controversy. DeSean Jackson was absent for this voluntary workouts and given a pass by the organization so he could pursue his off the field interests. This of course sparked news out of Redskins park and I decided to upload my opinion on his absence. Check out my new highlight video dedicated to the fans of the team.
