Miller Beach (also commonly known as Miller) is a community on the southernmost shore of Lake Michigan. First settled in 1851, Miller Beach was originally an independent town. However, the "Town of Miller" was eventually annexed by the then flourishing city of Gary, Indiana, in 1918. Located in the northeastern corner of Lake County, Indiana, the former town is now known as "The Miller Beach Community." Miller Beach borders Lake Michigan to the north, Porter County to the east, and is largely surrounded by protected lands, including the Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore. Miller Beach is also the closest beach/resort community to Chicago, and has been a popular vacation spot since the early 20th century. As of the 2000 US census, it had a population of 9,900.
The 1998 Miller 200 was the seventh round of the 1998 CART FedEx Champ Car World Series season, held on May 31, 1998 on the Milwaukee Mile in West Allis, Wisconsin. The race was a fuel economy run where fuel conservation was a serious factor, and Jimmy Vasser dominated it and won by over seven seconds, the win being his second of the season.
Paradise (Persian: پردیس, Paradise garden) is the term for a place of timeless harmony. The Abrahamic faiths associate paradise with the Garden of Eden, that is, the perfect state of the world prior to the fall from grace, and the perfect state that will be restored in the World to Come.
Paradisaical notions are cross-cultural, often laden with pastoral imagery, and may be cosmogonical or eschatological or both, often compared to the miseries of human civilization: in paradise there is only peace, prosperity, and happiness. Paradise is a place of contentment, a land of luxury and idleness. Paradise is often described as a "higher place", the holiest place, in contrast to this world, or underworlds such as Hell. In eschatological contexts, paradise is imagined as an abode of the virtuous dead. In Christian and Islamic understanding, Heaven is a paradisaical relief. In old Egyptian beliefs, the otherworld is Aaru, the reed-fields of ideal hunting and fishing grounds where the dead lived after judgment. For the Celts, it was the Fortunate Isle of Mag Mell. For the classical Greeks, the Elysian fields was a paradisaical land of plenty where the heroic and righteous dead hoped to spend eternity. The Vedic Indians held that the physical body was destroyed by fire but recreated and reunited in the Third Heaven in a state of bliss. In the Zoroastrian Avesta, the "Best Existence" and the "House of Song" are places of the righteous dead. On the other hand, in cosmological contexts 'paradise' describes the world before it was tainted by evil.
Paradise is the debut studio album by Australian recording artist Cody Simpson, released on 28 September 2012 by Atlantic Records.
On 12 June 2012, Simpson released Preview to Paradise, a four song teaser EP. The EP featured the songs "Got Me Good", "So Listen", "Wish U Were Here", and "Gentleman". All of the songs, besides "So Listen" were released as a part of Paradise. Simpson stated the reason behind only having a few collaborations on the album is because "I wanted my debut full length album to be a representation of me." It is rumored that Simpson could perform a one off song with JLS star Aston Merrygold once Surfers Paradise has been released.
On 25 May 2012, the lead single, "Got Me Good" was released as a teaser on Simpson's official website and radio. The accompanying music video was released on 5 June.
"Wish U Were Here", which features American YouTube singer Becky G, was the second official single off the album, released on 12 June 2012. The music video debuted on 7 August 2012. Four days later, three remixes of the song were released.
Paradise is an album by My Disco, released on 23 February 2008. The cover photo was one of a series taken by Warwick Baker amongst opal mines in South Australia. The album marked a further shift towards minimalism, a continuing theme from the previous album Cancer. The album was recorded in late 2007 at Electrical Audio studios in Chicago, by Steve Albini.
It was released through the band's Numerical Thief label with distribution through Shock. The album was also released on vinyl. A Japanese version was released in January 2009 with new cover art and bonus tracks. A US vinyl only version was released in March 2009 with new cover art by Louisville, Kentucky based label Fruits and Vegetables.
The official album launch was on 22 March at The Corner Hotel with Kes Band and Fabulous Diamonds.
All songs written by My Disco.

Currently in its first season on BBC One, the Caribbean-set crime drama Death in Paradise follows a detective inspector who is assigned to investigate a murder on the island of Saint-Marie. While it may sound like paradise for some, DI Richard Poole, played by Ben Miller, hates the sun, sea and sand, making the quintessential British cop feel like a fish out of water. His new partner is the feisty and instinctive Camille Bordey, played by Sara Martins. Miller and Martins' on-screen chemistry plays out as they solve a new crime in each episode. Off-screen, the pair kept cracking each other up as our cameras rolled for this video interview. The stars sat down with World Screen Weekly to talk about how the show differs from a traditional detective drama and what it was like filming in paradi...
