This is actually not the usual type of video that i would do :) hahah
its kind of different but this is a way of mine to share to you guys what i usually do as a normal vet student. This is just a day / one school day a brief overview of what i do.
Being a vet student is no joke. Acadamics is intense, you may not see it in my video but it really is. This is what i focus on if ever i haven't uploaded a video.
As a vet proper student my subjects are getting more difficult and challenging. I not telling you this to make excuses but this is my everyday reality. I usually spend most of my time with my studies, cause it is really no joke. Like our passing score on every test is 70/100 to get a passing grade. And getting that 70 is not that easy to be honest.

Dr. Dave Cartledge has been a Companion Animal Veterinarian in Toronto, Brooklyn and Edmonton for many years. In his early work Dr. Cartledge did not have many veterinary pain medications, and he often used off-label human medications. Nowadays, we have effective veterinary pain specific medications and surgical procedures to alleviate pain for our beloved animals. Our first TEDxWestlake explored the accelerating change in the world around us. This change is largely driven by the power of the digital infrastructure built over the last few decades. William Gibson has remarked: "The future is already here -- it's just unevenly distributed." While we can't predict the future, we tried to uncover and mine some of these veins.
We were lucky to have speakers from a wide array of disciplines, from kinetic art to philosophy to hybrid social ventures, to come share their stories with our audience of business students and innovators, and help us wonder about what might lie ahead.
As a dual-degree Veterinary -- Business student at the University of Pennsylvania, Molly Dominguez is challenging the future role of the veterinary profession. In the United States, a veterinarian is traditionally perceived as a doctor for dogs, cats and horses. Yet, during Molly's six years as an officer on active duty in the U.S. Army Medical Service Corps, including a deployment in Iraq, she learned about the global leadership of veterinary medicine in promoting political, economic, and public health security. Drawing from these experiences, she captures the essence of why spreading the capabilities and expertise of the veterinary profession is critical for the United States' foreign policy over the next decade. Molly is a graduate of the United States Military Academy and received her Master's in International Relations from Oklahoma University. Her husband, Augie Dominguez, is currently deployed to Afghanistan with the 82nd Airborne Division.
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Veterinary medicine
Veterinary medicine is the branch of medicine that deals with the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of disease, disorder and injury in non-human animals. The scope of veterinary medicine is wide, covering all animal species, both domesticated and wild, with a wide range of conditions which can affect different species.
Veterinary medicine is widely practiced, both with and without professional supervision. Professional care is most often led by a veterinary physician (also known as a vet, veterinary surgeon or veterinarian), but also by paraveterinary workers such as veterinary nurses or technicians. This can be augmented by other paraprofessionals with specific specialisms such as animal physiotherapy or dentistry, and species relevant roles such as farriers.
Veterinary science helps human health through the monitoring and control of zoonotic disease (infectious disease transmitted from non-human animals to humans), food safety, and indirectly through human applications from basic medical research. They also help to maintain food supply through livestock health monitoring and treatment, and mental health by keeping pets healthy and long living. Veterinary scientists often collaborate with epidemiologists, and other health or natural scientists depending on type of work. Ethically, veterinarians are usually obliged to look after animal welfare.

Plot: K-G has lost his foothold in life. He has no energy, doesn't know what he wants, and cannot work anymore. His wife Birgitta doesn't understand him. She works as a course-leader in personal development, and tries to teach her husband the same techniques she is teaching employees from various companies. She talks about the importance of positive thinking, of formulating concrete goals for oneself, of making time schedules, of focusing and so on. But K-G cannot grasp this. In the group she is training at the moment, she has found another man, Anders, with whom she experiences various sexual games in a hotel room. At the same time K-G is worried about the bad health of their dog Nestor. He takes Nestor to a veterinary, who says that there is nothing to do but to destroy the dog. When this is done K-G tries to get in touch with his wife, only to find her in bed with her lover. Totally lost he walks into a pond, where he lies down in the mud. Some musicians passing by ask him about the way to the local pub, where they are going to play. When he tells them he is a drummer himself, they persuade him to play with them this evening. Birgitta is in the pub with her group. When she sees her husband at the drums, she leaves Anders and starts an ecstatic dance on her own.

Polly escapes but realizes she is the only witness and fears for her life. She borrows money from her roommate, Mabel Donner, and catches a trail to Hartfotd, Connecticut but gets off at rural Clearview Junction. Meanwhile, college girl Dorothy Barnes, has left school to elope with a foreign prince much to the displeasure of her father, millionaire James Gordon Barnes, who has offered a large reward to anybody who knows where she is. Local newspaper reporter, Earl Daniels, mistakes Polly for Dorothy. Meanwhile, Lustig has gathered all his henchmen in Jersey City and dispatches them in a search for Polly.

This is actually not the usual type of video that i would do :) hahah
its kind of different but this is a way of mine to share to you guys what i usually do as a normal vet student. This is just a day / one school day a brief overview of what i do.
Being a vet student is no joke. Acadamics is intense, you may not see it in my video but it really is. This is what i focus on if ever i haven't uploaded a video.
As a vet proper student my subjects are getting more difficult and challenging. I not telling you this to make excuses but this is my everyday reality. I usually spend most of my time with my studies, cause it is really no joke. Like our passing score on every test is 70/100 to get a passing grade. And getting that 70 is not that easy to be honest.
To sum it all up, here is a day as a vet student vlog where i share my academics and extracurricular activities :) I hope you like it. :) don't forget to give it a thumbs up. :) and if you read this til here YOU ARE AWESOME AND I LOVE YOU MORE.; and comment :

Our first TEDxWestlake explored the accelerating change in the world around us. This change is largely driven by the power of the digital infrastructure built over the last few decades. William Gibson has remarked: "The future is already here -- it's just unevenly distributed." While we can't predict the future, we tried to uncover and mine some of these veins.
We were lucky to have speakers from a wide array of disciplines, from kinetic art to philosophy to hybrid social ventures, to come share their stories with our audience of business students and innovators, and help us wonder about what might lie ahead.
As a dual-degree Veterinary -- Business student at the University of Pennsylvania, Molly Dominguez is challenging the future role of the veterinary profession. In the United States, a veterinarian is traditionally perceived as a doctor for dogs, cats and horses. Yet, during Molly's six years as an officer on active duty in the U.S. Army Medical Service Corps, including a deployment in Iraq, she learned about the global leadership of veterinary medicine in promoting political, economic, and public health security. Drawing from these experiences, she captures the essence of why spreading the capabilities and expertise of the veterinary profession is critical for the United States' foreign policy over the next decade. Molly is a graduate of the United States Military Academy and received her Master's in International Relations from Oklahoma University. Her husband, Augie Dominguez, is currently deployed to Afghanistan with the 82nd Airborne Division.
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.
