"Shine" is a song by American musician Trey Anastasio. It was released on October 11, 2005 as a single from the album of the same name. Credited to both Trey Anastasio and Brendan O'Brien, it was recorded in mid-2005 at the Southern Tracks Recording Studio in Atlanta, Georgia. Anastasio admits that "Shine" was written after all of the other tracks on the album, as a way to "tie it all together." It was debuted live on July 24, 2005, at the 10,000 Lakes Festival in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota.
Shine was a Bubblegum Dance project formed in Sweden in the early 2000s by Zix Productions under the former label Stockhouse. The project was built around the main vocalist Carola Bernhav. During their time active, Shine released two singles in Japan and some songs on compilational sets. Shine is perhaps best known for her song "Loverboy".
Despite no official disbanding ever announced, the project has since been considered abandoned since 2001.
The project Shine was created in 2000 as a Traditional Bubblegum Dance project by Zix producers Guran Florén and Teddy Gustavsson, who are also members of the Bubblegum project Yummie from Sweden, best known as Maestro X and Zed. The project was built around Carola Bernhav, who was 18 years old at the time. From the very beginning, the project was aimed to be marketed as a project in the same vein as popular Bubblegum artists Aqua, Toy-Box, or even Miss Papaya. A lot of people who have heard Shine's music have agreed that Carola's vocals were very similar to Lene Nystrom-Rasted's from Aqua.
Acoustic is the seventh album by Everything but the Girl, released on 2 June 1992. The Worldwide & The Acoustic EP's were reissued together by Edsel Records as a 2-disc Deluxe Set in 2012.
Some digital downloads of the album – including those sold by Amazon and iTunes – have the fully orchestrated version of "Come on Home" (3:22) from Baby, the Stars Shine Bright rather than the pared back version from Acoustic. The error appears to be the recording company's.

Acoustic is a live album recording of a Nouvelle Vague concert from Auditório Municipal Augusto Cabrita in Barreiro, Portugal. As indicated by the album name all songs are acoustic versions taken from the band's previous studio albums Nouvelle Vague, Bande à Part and 3, except Sweet Dreams and Relax.
Acoustic is an EP by American rock band Bayside, released on February 28, 2006. The release was in memory of John "Beatz" Holohan, the band's drummer who was killed when the band's tour bus crashed on October 31, 2005. By April 2006, the EP had sold over 13,000 copies.
The CD includes seven studio-recorded acoustic songs (five of which had been previously released non-acoustically on past albums, and two of which were new), two previously unreleased non-acoustic songs (one of which was an Elliott Smith cover), and one live acoustic song.
The song "Winter", one of the new acoustic songs, was specifically dedicated to Holohan, and the song "Megan", the other new acoustic song, is a cover of a Smoking Popes song and features guest vocals from the Smoking Popes' lead singer, Josh Caterer.
The DVD includes an acoustic set of the band's performance at the House of Blues, Chicago, on the Never Sleep Again Tour in 2005, a "making of the album" video, and a montage segment in memory of Holohan. The songs from the live performance that are found on the DVD include six of the seven studio-recorded acoustic songs found on the CD, with the exception of "Winter". Instead, the song "Don't Call Me Peanut" appears, which coincidentally is the live track found on the CD.
Muse is a wearable brain sensing headband that can measure the wearers level of calm. The device measures brain activity via a series of EEG sensors, the level of activity is fed back to the user via headphones. Brain waves that correspond to a more relaxed state are represented by tweeting birds, those corresponding to higher amounts of brain activity are represented by storm sounds. Muse is worn over the ears and connects to a companion mobile app via bluetooth. The goal of Muse is to use biofeedback to train your brain, differing from a device like Thync that claims to actually alter brainwaves by wearing it.
Muse is the subject of various scientific studies, one of those at the Mayo Clinic, to understand its usefulness in supporting patients who have undergone breast cancer surgery.
Muse is manufactured by InteraXon, whose CEO is Ariel Garten
Who-oo cares for the life we've earned?
Someone's saved all the truth you've earned
Remember when we used to shine?
And had no fear? Or sense of time?
(It creeps up on you)
You can't cry now
There's nothing to feel
No-one's noticed our loneliness
Remember when you used to tease?
And make us scream eternal joys
We believed that you'll always be here
'Cause once you promised a life with no fear
Please don't break my ideals
And say what's fake was always real
Hope was the one, now I'm gone
