This is the full, new concept album by Genoine. It tells the story of Harry Gates, a recent convert to The Right Path. Before he becomes a full member, he has to remain in the Valley of Strangers for 1800 days without succumbing to any temptations which he may be offered.
Over the course of his stay, he comes across a plethora of curious people and creatures, such as a magic-book-wielding wild man, the Shorecoatikinee, the sheep in human skin, the puppet people and the intimidating Mr. Boss.

'A Tragedy in Twilight: The Apotheosis of the Mad' is the debut album for The Oracle, an extreme progressive/atmospheric metal band with black/ambient undertones from Georgetown, Ontario, Canada.
Formed in early 2006 as a progressive rock outfit, the Oracle has evolved and explored many genres through its brief career, ranging from progressive, ambient, and electronic soundscapes to brutal death and black metal attacks made up of contrapuntal melodies and soaring epic orchestration.
The full-length conceptual album was fully recorded at Limehouse Sound Studios. The album was mixed and mastered at Sundown Studios in Guelph and released in August 2008.

Concept album
A concept album is a studio album where all musical or lyrical ideas contribute to a single overall theme or unified story. In contrast, typical studio albums consist of a number of unconnected songs (lyrically and otherwise) performed by the artist. It has been argued that concept albums should refer only to albums that bring in themes or story lines from outside of music, given that a collection of love songs or songs from within a certain genre are not usually considered to be a "concept album."
History
1940s–1960s
Woody Guthrie's Dust Bowl Ballads (1940) is regarded as one of the first concept albums, consisting exclusively of semi-autobiographical songs about the hardships of American migrant labourers during the 1930s.Merle Travis' Folk Songs of the Hills (1947) can be considered a concept album as it exclusively features songs about working life on railroads and in coal mines.
In the early 1950s, before the mainstream breakthrough of rock and roll, concept albums were mostly prevalent in jazz music. Singer Frank Sinatra recorded several notable concept albums prior to the 1960s rock era, including In the Wee Small Hours (1955; songs about loneliness, heartache, introspection, and nightlife), Where Are You? (1957; songs about heartache), Frank Sinatra Sings for Only the Lonely (1958; songs about loneliness and heartache), Come Fly with Me (1958; songs about world travel), and No One Cares (1959; songs about loneliness and depression). Often credited as the innovator or originator of the concept album, Frank Sinatra's The Voice of Frank Sinatra (1946), Songs for Young Lovers (1954), and In the Wee Small Hours (1955) are generally considered among the first, if not the first, concept albums. Singer/pianist Nat King Cole's concept albums include After Midnight (1956; collaborations with jazz instrumentalists in the style of late-night jam sessions) and "Penthouse Serenade" (1955; songs detailing the "cocktail piano" era.).

This is the full, new concept album by Genoine. It tells the story of Harry Gates, a recent convert to The Right Path. Before he becomes a full member, he has to remain in the Valley of Strangers for 1800 days without succumbing to any temptations which he may be offered.
Over the course of his stay, he comes across a plethora of curious people and creatures, such as a magic-book-wielding wild man, the Shorecoatikinee, the sheep in human skin, the puppet people and the intimidating Mr. Boss.

Eschewing his singles route, he stowed himself and set to work creating a longplayer that had a different (and some might say more complex) purpose. In perhaps the most extraordinary manner imaginable, the summation of those 3 travail-filled years arrives this October, via the release of ‘Wolves’.
If there was one artist operating in the trance field that was going to take a more introspective, existential route to their first longplayer, it was likely him. Concept albums come in many forms, but few - if any - start with the publication of a book. For October 14th sees not only the release of ‘Wolves’ the album, but also ‘Wolves’ the paperback.
Most albums have ‘a story’, but perhaps not to quite the same degree as Eco’s ‘Wolves’. Dealing with (as the New Jersey-ite puts it) “a child who is no longer satisfied with the time & place he finds himself in and decides to embrace wilderness”, it is, in part, an allegory of his disillusionment. Moreover though it’s a concerted attempt to confront it and improve it.
Musically, the album tracks the arc of the ‘Wolves’ novella. Reading at roughly the same pace as it (pause-free) plays, its titles, music and lyrics, in effect, ‘illustrate’ the book. Using the wolf motif, it deals with the highs, lows, and varying trials and tribulations the boy faces. In doing so, it provides a rarely - if ever before - experienced adjunct to a music album. While the story is personal to Marcello, it’s also one that will very likely resonate with fans within the scene.
To further the album’s Odyssey-like journey to completion, Eco picked up and learnt instruments he’d never previously touched (most notably, the guitar, which is prevalent in several tracks). Jesus Christ Superstar is a 1970 rock opera by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice. The album musical is a musical dramatisation of the last week of the life of Jesus Christ, beginning with his entry into Jerusalem and ending with the Crucifixion. It was originally banned by the BBC on grounds of being "sacrilegious."
The album's story is based in large part on the Synoptic Gospels and Fulton J. Sheen's Life of Christ, which compares and calibrates all four Gospels. However, greater emphasis is placed on the interpersonal relationships of the major characters, in particular, Jesus, Judas and Mary Magdalene, relationships that are not described in depth in the Gospels.
The album topped the U.S. Billboard Pop Albums in 1971 and served as a launching pad for numerous stage productions on Broadway and in the West End. The original 1970 boxed-set issue of this 2-record set was packaged in the U.S. with a special thin brown cardboard outer box which contained the 2 vinyl records and a 28-page libretto. The album was listed as the top-selling LP on the U.S. Billboard Pop chart of 1971. It is also the sixth most successful album of all time in Norway, peaking at No. 3 and staying on the charts for 87 weeks
