Sorry for the break. We haven't taken a break from disc golf but haven't been playing other courses other than the ones we've already listed. Today we visit Papago Park or Mouer Park ( or Moeur) and play what is considered the pro tees and pro rules for the tournaments held out at Papago Park, namely the Phoenix City Champs which are played every year over the Thanksgiving holiday. So enjoy a friendly but fueled round of fun disc golf by two bros whose love for disc golf means missing the highly entertaining Cardinals and Seahawks game that was on television during our round.
Come along for a virtual hike through the Papago Park as we hike from The Tempe Papago Park to the Phoenix Papago Park. Starting from Curry road in Tempe, AZ heading to McDowell road in Phoenix, AZ. We take a look at Hunt's Tomb, the Hole in the Rock, big horn sheep, a canal bridge, and the desert. We will talk about the Hohokam Native American tribe and their use of the Hole in the Rock, how a Saguaro grow with the assistance of a "nurse tree", and the new initiate of the City of Phoenix regarding excessive heat and trail users.
