From the day when teasers went out audience were quite intrigued watching #SadiaKhan and #AhsanKhan in lead and having watchedthe first episode yesterday we are hearing such good reviews about the that people can't even wait to watch the next episode. The story of this play revolves around #MaryamPereira, who is a young and educated woman fighting for the rights of her community and supporting her family. Written by #RiffatSiraj and directed by #IqbalHussain, Maryam Pereira is thoughtproviking and intruiguing. Althought it's just the first episode which went on air last night we can see fans chanting for more. The drama serial began with #MaryamPereira praying at the chruch with an assertive speech regarding christian community. #MaryamPerira (#SadiaKhan) is honestly an emeblem of care and sophistication as she never sees wrong in anyone and loves her mother and siblings very much. A very kind hearted soul Mayram also has someone very special in life revealed as her best friend's brother "Sufiyan" #EmadIrfani, who is a lawyer by profession and a loyal son and brother but the only trouble in his life is loving a christian girl. Sufiyan #EmadIrfani obliges #MaryamPeriera and proposes her for marriage keeping the difference of community in mind. Although his dadi making plans for brigning her other grand child as his bride. Now, Maryam and Sufiyan are trying their best to make the most of their relationship and end it with a marriage but the situation looks distinct. Other than Emmad and Sadia's character there's #AhsanKhan in the play as well who is baloch Sardar, although we haven't had much from him yesterday, Ahsan #AhsanKhan stepped in at the end of the episode where his father arranged a lavish welcome party to celebrate his graduation. #AhsanKhan is playing Ali who just came back to Karachi completing his education from abroad. However, it was just a glimpse of his entry at the end and more from his character will enfold in the upcoming episodes. Synopsis: Young and pretty Maryam is a Christian girl teaching at a local college. Her best friend’s brother Sufiyan loves her madly but Maryam refuses him saying she has a family to support after which he leaves the country. When Ali Khan joins her college as a teacher,he is greatly impressed by Maryam’s principles, her courage and her dignity. Although Ali belongs to a feudal background, he has a very liberal and progressive mind that believes all human beings are equal. He wants to change the thinking of people around him especially the feudal class that opposes the spread of education and awareness of women’s rights. But Ali’s father Hakim Khan is not only a feudal lord but also the head of a land developers and builders group. Hakim Khan’s cunning partner Sadiq Khan is a lecherous fruit merchant who places before him a lucrative deal of building a big budget commercial project. Sadiq Khan also desires Maryam Pereira and wants to possess her. So he hatches a heinous conspiracy to usurp the Christian colony land which will also place Maryam at his mercy. But the biggest opponents of this plan are Maryam and Hakim’s own son Ali who is determined to protect his beloved. Now the battle is on between the forces of Evil and the power of Love and each episode bring more thrills and drama that will keep viewers in suspense from beginning to end.
