Charles Heller and Lorenzo Pezzani, who conduct the Forensic Oceanography research project as research fellows of the Forensic Architecture project, based at the Centre for Research Architecture, Goldsmiths College, University of London.

The layers of the map were produced on a volunteer basis by several GIS experts recruited for us by GIS Corps and to whom we are very grateful.

Platform

The platform is a customization of the Ushahidi crowdmapping platform, which is frequently used in crisis situations and allows the "crowd" to report using different media.
