On June 28, 2014, an eleven story under-construction building at Moulivakkam in the suburb of Chennai, Tamil Nadu collapsed, killing 61 people, mostly construction workers.[1]

Prime Trust Heights is a residential project developed by Prime Sristi Housing Pvt Ltd. Trust height has two towers one is THE FAITH and second tower is called as THE BELIEF. It's a twin eleven storied apartment blocks situated on Kundrathur road near Porur junction. Tower "The Faith" has four apartments of 2 bhk and Tower the Belief" has 4 apts of 3bhk in each floor. Number of 2 bed room flats - 60 Number of 3 bed room flats - 26
Units were priced at 5250 per sq/ft.[2]

After heavy rain on Saturday, June 28, an under-construction building at Moulivakkam, a suburb of Chennai collapsed at 5.30pm trapping many constructions workers under the debris.
Rescue Operations[edit]
Tamil Nadu Fire and Rescue force along with National Disaster Response Force NDRF from Arakkonam base managed the rescue operations.
The final death toll was 61 people consisting constructions workers from Madurai, Tamil Nadu, Srikakulam district of Andhra Pradesh and Gajapathi district of Orrisa.

I got a chance to drive in Chennai City located in Tamil Nadu, India. It was a great experience to see a lot of traffic and a multicultural population. Chennai, formerly known as Madras is one of the largest metropolitan cities in India. It is ranked as one of the 50 most populated cities in the world (yes, the world). It is the capital of the South Indian state Tamil Nadu, and most people speak Tamil and English here.
I drove a lot around Saidapet, K.K Nagar, Anna Salai, Adyar and T.Nagar. These are the prime areas of Chennai city. However, most of my footage is useless because of my bad videography and bumpy roads. I hope you will find it interesting to watch this video of driving in Chennai.

Yuvan Shankar Raja
Yuvan Shankar Raja (born 31 August 1979) is an Indian singer-songwriter, film score and soundtrack composer, and occasional lyricist from Chennai, Tamil Nadu. He has predominantly scored music for Tamil films. The youngest son of noted film composer Ilaiyaraaja, he began his musical career in 1996, at age 16, when he composed the film score for Aravindhan. After initial struggle, he made his big break with the Thulluvadho Ilamai soundtrack (2001), and evolved as one of Tamil cinema's most sought-after composers by the mid-2000s.
Within a span of 15 years, Yuvan Shankar Raja has worked on over 100 films. Considered a versatile composer, he often strives for different and innovative music and has explored and used elements of various genres in his compositions that range from folk and R&B to techno and heavy metal. He is particularly known for his use of western music elements and often credited with having introduced Hip hop to the Tamil film and music industry and having started the "era of remixes" in Tamil Nadu. Being popular among the younger generation, he is frequently referred to as the "Rockstar", and the "Youth Icon of Tamil Film Music". In addition, Yuvan Shankar Raja is recognized for his background score in films (re-recording) that have fetched him accolades among critics.

It is the capital of the South Indian state Tamil Nadu, and most people speak Tamil and English here. I drove a lot around Saidapet, K.K Nagar, Anna Salai, Adyar and T.Nagar. These are the prime areas of Chennai city. However, most of my footage is useless because of my bad videography and bumpy roads. Prime Trust Heights is a residential project developed by Prime Sristi Housing Pvt Ltd. Trust height has two towers one is THE FAITH and second tower is called as THE BELIEF. It's a twin eleven storied apartment blocks situated on Kundrathur road near Porur junction. Tower "The Faith" has four apartments of 2 bhk and Tower the Belief" has 4 apts of 3bhk in each floor. Number of 2 bed room flats - 60 Number of 3 bed room flats - 26
Units were priced at 5250 per sq/ft.[2]

After heavy rain on Saturday, June 28, an under-construction building at Moulivakkam, a suburb of Chennai collapsed at 5.30pm trapping many constructions workers under the debris.
Rescue Operations[edit]
Tamil Nadu Fire and Rescue force along with National Disaster Response Force NDRF from Arakkonam base managed the rescue operations.
The final death toll was 61 people consisting constructions workers from Madurai, Tamil Nadu, Srikakulam district of Andhra Pradesh and Gajapathi district of Orrisa.

I got a chance to drive in Chennai City located in Tamil Nadu, India. It was a great experience to see a lot of traffic and a multicultural population. Chennai, formerly known as Madras is one of the largest metropolitan cities in India. It is ranked as one of the 50 most populated cities in the world (yes, the world). It is the capital of the South Indian state Tamil Nadu, and most people speak Tamil and English here.
I drove a lot around Saidapet, K.K Nagar, Anna Salai, Adyar and T.Nagar. These are the prime areas of Chennai city. However, most of my footage is useless because of my bad videography and bumpy roads. I hope you will find it interesting to watch this video of driving in Chennai.

These are the places i stumbled upon while going around. I am also sure there are many pretty and clean parts, i just never found them.

Chennai is the only city in South Asia and India to figure in the "52 places to go around the world" by The New York Times. Tourism guide publisher Lonely Planet has named Chennai as one of the top ten cities in the world to visit in 2015. Chennai is the capital city of the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. Located on the Coromandel Coast off the Bay of Bengal, it is the biggest industrial and commercial centre in South India,[6] and a major cultural, economic and educational centre. Chennai is known as the "Detroit of India" for its automobile industry. The city is host to the third-largest expatriate population in India after Mumbai and Delhi, with 35,000 in 2009 and steadily climbing to 82,790 in 2011. Chennai is the only city in South Asia and India to figure in the "52 places to go around the world" by The New York Times. Tourism guide publisher Lonely Planet has named Chennai as one of the top ten cities in the world to visit in 2015. Chennai is ranked as a beta-level city in the Global Cities Index, behind Mumbai, New Delhi and Bangalore, and ahead of Kolkata, Hyderabad and Colombo.
