Shailza is a beautiful successful actress, living happily with her husband Deepak. One day on their marriage anniversary, Deepak & Shailza decided to go for a vacation, to a lovely resort, at a beautiful hill station, in order to spend romantic time with each other. On reaching the hill station, Shailza gets negative vibes in circumstances & some mysterious incident happens. After1-2 days, Shailza gets life threats from an unknown person. She tells Deepak about all the incidents that happen with her. Deepak convinces her that all this is her mind's mashup and all this is due to work stress. But after more threats, the couple gets upset and decides to leave the resort. While on their way back home; they meet with an accident; some goons attack the couple’s car. In the accident Deepak gets a head injury, while Shailza is kidnapped by the goons.
Inspector Aryan is investing the kidnapping case of Shailza; he enquires with Deepak about the accident day. On the other hand, the leader of the kidnappers, Akash and his team Soni, Babu & Jagan, call Deepak for ransom money. Inspector Aryan gets a clue and reaches the place, where Deepak is going to give money to the kidnappers. On police interruption, goons get furious and they threaten Deepak, since he informed the police. Deepak gets angry with police for their interference and for putting Shailza’s life in trouble. After many turns & twists, the suspense is revealed, the police rescue the Shailza and the real culprits are punished.

Nadia Jaber is a graduate student at Stony Brook University, pursuing a PhD in Molecular and Cellular Biology. Her thesis work focuses on how mammalian cells discard the chemical signals used to communicate with one another. During her graduate training, she realized she wanted something different than the traditional academic career path that PhDs are geared for. Exploring her interests, she found a passion in science and health communications and has since begun the Advanced Certificate in Health Communications offered by the Alan Alda Center for Communicating Science. Her goal is to use her science background to disseminate important health and science information in order to empower the general public to make educated decisions.
Outside of science and communications, Nadia likes to try new recipes, paint quotes for her Etsy shop, take kickboxing classes and sail around Northport.

There is no shortage of PhD advice out there; how to be more organised, how to procrastinate less, how to sort your data and so on... And yet there is no shortage of stressed PhD students either.
Is the advice flawed? Or are the students just not working hard enough? Neither; the problem is that the advice generally given consists of tactics, while most students are still trying to figure out the rules of the game.
If you don't know how the system works or what you have to achieve, then being more organised or working harder simply won't work... you'll just end up going insane!

Professor James Arvanitakis talks us through five important things to think about before you decide to start a PhD.
1. The first thing to do is find something you are really interested in researching, because you are going to be doing this for the next three years of your life.
2. Next, you'll need to find the right supervisors to support you in your PhD - their guidance and support is crucial to your success.
3. Thirdly, what is your long term plan and where do you want your PhD to take you in the future. Are you doing this for the right reasons?
4. The fourth thing is to consider the journey - this might be more important than the end point of finishing your thesis. What do you want to achieve along the way?
5. Finally, you need to work out if you are really prepared for the time and effort it will take to complete your PhD. Finishing your research degree will not be an easy process and you need to be ready for the challenge.
Professor James Arvanitakis is the Dean of the Graduate Research School at Western Sydney University.

Doctor of Philosophy
A Doctor of Philosophy degree (PhD or Ph.D. or DPhil) or a Doctorate of Philosophy, from the Latin Doctor Philosophiae (for DPhil) or Philosophiae Doctor (for PhD or Ph.D.), is a type of doctorate awarded by universities in many countries.
The degree varies considerably according to the country, institution, and time period, from entry-level research degrees to higher doctorates. A person who attains a doctorate of philosophy is automatically awarded the academic title of doctor. During the studies that lead to the degree, the student is called doctoral student or PhD student, but also "doctoral candidate" at the appropriate stage.
In the context of academic degrees, the term philosophy does not refer solely to the field of philosophy, but is used in a broader sense in accordance with its original Greek meaning, which is "love of wisdom". In most of Europe, all fields (history, philosophy, social sciences, mathematics and natural philosophy/natural sciences) other than theology, law, and medicine (the so-called professional, vocational, or technical curriculum) were traditionally known as philosophy, and in Germany and elsewhere in Europe the basic faculty of liberal arts was known as the faculty of philosophy.

Shailza is a beautiful successful actress, living happily with her husband Deepak. One day on their marriage anniversary, Deepak & Shailza decided to go for a vacation, to a lovely resort, at a beautiful hill station, in order to spend romantic time with each other. On reaching the hill station, Shailza gets negative vibes in circumstances & some mysterious incident happens. After1-2 days, Shailza gets life threats from an unknown person. She tells Deepak about all the incidents that happen with her. Deepak convinces her that all this is her mind's mashup and all this is due to work stress. But after more threats, the couple gets upset and decides to leave the resort. While on their way back home; they meet with an accident; some goons attack the couple’s car. This speaker offers an idea to help prepare graduate students for the real world. Nadia Jaber is a graduate student at Stony Brook University, pursuing a PhD in Molecular and Cellular Biology. Her thesis work focuses on how mammalian cells discard the chemical signals used to communicate with one another. 1. The first thing to do is find something you are really interested in researching, because you are going to be doing this for the next three years of your life.
2. Next, you'll need to find the right supervisors to support you in your PhD - their guidance and support is crucial to your success.
3. Thirdly, what is your long term plan and where do you want your PhD to take you in the future. Are you doing this for the right reasons?
4. The fourth thing is to consider the journey - this might be more important than the end point of finishing your thesis. What do you want to achieve along the way?
5. Finally, you need to work out if you are really prepared for the time and effort it will take to complete your PhD. Finishing your research degree will not be an easy process and you need to be ready for the challenge.

Actually, those were pretty stup!d analogies that @rytsuru made. 4-4 is not equivalent to hitting 50% of a corporate goal. The “goal” or expectation for UH is not to be 8-0 at this point in the season. The goal was an improvement on last season, which puts him at 100%+ of his goal ...
