In this episode we bring to you stories about the tea tribes of Assam. Main Bhi Bharat team travelled to the tea gardens of Kokrajhar to know more about these tribes. These people belong to various tribes like Santhal, Munda, Kharia and were brought to Assam to work in tea gardens in early 19th century. These tribals in other states like Jharkhand and West Bengal have got ST status but in Assam this status is not extended to these tribes.
