The Weekly with Charlie Pickering is an Australian satirical television news programme presented by comedian Charlie Pickering. It co-stars Tom Gleeson and Kitty Flanagan. It premiered on ABC on 22 April 2015 and was signed on for 20 episodes.
On 18 September 2015, the series was renewed for a second season to air in 2016, as well commissioned to air a one-off special titled The Yearly in December 2015.
The show has been compared to Last Week Tonight with John Oliver, following a similar format. Charlie Pickering delivers a selection of the past week's news stories interspersed with jokes. Most episodes feature an interview with a guest or a cross to an international correspondent. A previously prepared sketch, story or interview is usually presented by Tom Gleeson and Kitty Flanagan. It is pre-recorded in front of an audience in ABC's Melbourne studio on the same day of its airing.
The Yearly with Charlie Pickering is an annual special which relives the year's highlights and lowlights. It concludes with the The Weekly's Person of the Year. The first show screens on 16 December 2015.
Creative Loafing, also known as CL Inc., was an Atlanta-based publisher of alternative weekly newspapers in the United States, including several Creative Loafing titles, which operated 1972–2012. The Atlanta Creative Loafing launched the career of best-selling author and American humorist Hollis Gillespie by debuting her weekly column "Moodswing," which first appeared in 2001 and ran for eight years. Jill Hannity, the wife of Sean Hannity, was the managing editor of the newspaper 1993–1996 until their move to New York City, which commenced Sean Hannity's television career.
Creative Loafing began as a family-owned business in the 1970s, expanding to other cities in the Southern United States in the late 1980s and 1990s. In 2007 it doubled its circulation with the purchase of the Chicago Reader and Washington City Paper; the $40 million debt it incurred, along with an economic recession, forced the company into bankruptcy one year later. By 2012 it had sold all of its properties to other publishers.
ABC (formerly known as ABC National Television or ABC TV from 1956 until 2008, and as ABC1 from 2008 until 2014) is a national public television network in Australia. Launched on 5 November 1956 it is the responsibility of the ABC's television division, and is available nationally.
The history of ABC TV can be traced back to 1953, when the federal Television Act was passed, providing the initial regulatory framework for both ABC Television and ABC Commercial television networks under the Australian Broadcasting Corporation. Over the next three years, planning for the introduction of a national television service was put in place – land for studios and transmitters in Sydney and Melbourne was acquired, and overseas tutors were brought to Australia to assist with training.
Commercial station TCN-9 Sydney was the first to broadcast in Australia, soon followed by the ABC's own ABN-2 Sydney and later ABV-2 in Melbourne. Six stations, three in Melbourne and three in Sydney, were in operation in time to cover the 1956 Summer Olympics in Melbourne. The channel's first television broadcast was inaugurated by prime minister Robert Menzies on 5 November at the Gore Hill studios in Sydney, followed two weeks later by transmission in Melbourne.
Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, or simply Rogue One, is an upcoming American epic space opera film directed by Gareth Edwards and written by Gary Whitta and Chris Weitz, from an idea by visual effects supervisor John Knoll. It will be the first film in the Star Wars Anthology series, a collection of stand-alone stories set in the Star Wars universe, and will star Felicity Jones, Diego Luna, Riz Ahmed, Ben Mendelsohn, Donnie Yen, Jiang Wen, Forest Whitaker, Mads Mikkelsen, and Alan Tudyk. Set shortly before the events of Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope (1977), the story will center on a group of Rebel spies on a mission to steal the plans for the Empire's new weapon, the Death Star.
The film is produced by Lucasfilm and will be distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. Principal photography began at Elstree Studios, near London during early August 2015. Rogue One will be released on December 16, 2016, one year after the franchise's latest film, Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2015).

I can see night in the day time
Into the woods I quietly go
It takes all the strength I have in me
These are the woods
The night of the soul
Painful to see
Love without action
Painful to see years of neglect
Achin' to see all that they see
Still telling lies to the remains of respect
Creatures we are worth defending
It takes the right word said from the heart
Given to you without ending
Given to you, the purpose of art
Thousands of plans, I've made many
I wonder just how many plans I have made
Feelin' this mood overtake me
Finally to see the truth as it fades
Out of these woods will you take me
Out of these woods, out of the strom
Sinless child can you save me
