In the late 1960's Charles Manson led a small, fanatical cult on a self-styled war against society. He and several female followers were convicted of at least seven murders, including actress Sharon Tate - then eight months pregnant. The world was shocked not just by the cruelty of the crimes but the robot-like behaviour of Manson's 'family' during their trial. Manson, who lived as the embodiment of insanity, died in prison. But as Tara Brown reports, three of the other perpetrators are still alive and one, Leslie Van Houten, could walk free from jail in the next few weeks. Van Houten claims that after half a century behind bars she deserves her release because she’s a reformed woman. However, that assurance holds little weight for the loved ones of the victims. Debra Tate, the younger sister of Sharon Tate, the beautiful Hollywood actress slain by the Manson family, tells Brown how she has devoted her life to ensuring her sister’s killers are never released.

Little back-ground information about Charles Manson's life that not many knows about him: He was sent to Boystown Nebraska at early age. Child-rape. Charlie was there. Revolution in LA and Africa...civil rights, etc. Meanwhile in LA when the big black drug dealer the Panther connected Lotsapoppa wanted to take the life of that girl Charlie kneeled down and offered his own life instead to save the girl. And he did it. No words only... Charlie did it. Actions speak louder than words. Regardless the crime was horrible but it was not Charlie it was Tex Watson and the girls. That is a fact.
Pizzagate and Franklin Cover Up in Boystown, Nebraska that is the place where little Charlie Manson was sent to at age 13. He was even pictured in the papers as it was a great reward in a life of an orphan or unwanted child. He told you he was there in Boystown and he told you he wasn't there when the murders took place in 1969. No one heard him and not many wants to hear him now either... Truth hurts.

1 Charles Manson is an American cult leader. His followers carried out several notorious murders in the late 1960s and inspired the book Helter Skelter.
2 Charles Manson was born on November 12, 1934, he is now 82 years old. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio.
3 His birth name is Charles Milles Maddox.
4 Charles Manson mother was Kathleen Maddox, she was a 16-year-old girl who was both an alcoholic and prostitute. Kathleen later married William Manson, the marriage did not last.
5 Charles was placed in an all boys school. Manson’s mother didn’t want anything to do with him.
6 Soon enough Charles was living on the streets and getting by through petty crime. By 1951, Charles began to spend time in prison. The first 32 years of his life were eventually spent behind bars.
7 Manson was married twice. A new chapter in his life began when he met his first wife 17-year-old, Rosalie Jean Willis, in 1955. He then moved with her to California.
8 Rosalie became pregnant, but Charles continued a life of crime again stealing cars. Didn’t take long before he was back behind bars.
9 By 1956, Manson’s wife had left with their child and her new lover. Later Manson had another child with a different woman while being out on probation.
11 The following year he would spearhead a murderous campaign that would make him one of the most infamous figures in criminal history.
12 Manson reflects in many ways personality traits and obsessions that are associated with gurus of cult quasi religious groups that soon began to emerge in the 1960’s and are still with us today.
13 He was pathologically deluded into believing that he was the omen of doom regarding the planet's future.
14 In the same way that cult and evangelist figures today claim prophetic knowledge of the world's end.
15 Charles was not only influenced by drugs such as LSD, but by music of the time such as the Beatles song “Helter Skelter” and by art works.
17 In 1967, Manson gathered a group of followers who shared his passion for an unconventional lifestyle and habitual use of hallucinogenic drugs, such as LSD and magic mushrooms.
18 The family as they became known, moved to san Francisco and later to a deserted ranch in san Fernando valley.
19 At that time his followers, which were numbering around 100, also included a small hard-core unit of impressionable young girls. They began to believe, without question, Manson's claims that he was Jesus and his prophecies of a race war.
20 In 1969, the county sheriff had them in custody, not realizing that he had murder suspects on his hands.
21 But it was the confessions of Susan Atkins, while held in detention on suspicion of murdering Gary Hinman during an unrelated incident.
That led detectives to realize that Manson and his followers were involved in the Tate/LA Bianca killings.
22 Manson and his Family were arrested not on suspicion of the murders but simply on the belief that they had vandalized a portion of the Death Valley National Park while they were hiding out in the Mojave Desert.
23 On January 25, 1971, Manson was convicted of first degree murder for directing the deaths of the Tate/LA Bianca victims.
24 He was sentenced to death, but this was automatically commuted to life in prison after California's Supreme Court invalidated all death sentences prior to 1972.
25 Manson is serving his time in Corcoran State Prison in California. Even behind bars, he has still managed to attract followers.
26 In January 2017, it was reported that Manson had been hospitalized in Bakersfield with a serious illness.

Charles Manson
Charles Milles Manson (born Charles Milles Maddox, November 12, 1934) is an American criminal who led what became known as the Manson Family, a quasi-commune that arose in the California desert in the late 1960s. Manson and his followers committed a series of nine murders at four locations over a period of five weeks in the summer of 1969. In 1971 he was found guilty of conspiracy to commit the murders of seven people: actress Sharon Tate and four other people at Tate's home; and the next day, a married couple, Leno and Rosemary LaBianca; all carried out by members of the group at his instruction. He was convicted of the murders through the joint-responsibility rule, which makes each member of a conspiracy guilty of crimes committed by fellow conspirators in furtherance of the conspiracy's objective. His followers also murdered several other people at other times and locations, and Manson was also convicted for two of these other murders (of Gary Hinman and Donald "Shorty" Shea).

CFNA-FM is a Canadian radio station, broadcasting at 99.7 FM in Bonnyville, Alberta. The station airs a country music format branded as Country 99 FM.
The station was originally launched in 2003 by 912038 Alberta Ltd. as a rebroadcaster of CKLM-FM in Lloydminster. It officially became a separate station with its own studios and program schedule on September 28, 2007. The station originally had an active rock format. The station was sold to Vista Broadcast Group on November 21, 2008. The music format was changed to Country by Vista Radio in early 2009, when the name was changed from "The GOAT" to "The Wolf". The name was changed again in 2014 to "99 Country FM".

107.7 The Wolf was a British Independent Local Radio station serving Wolverhampton and the surrounding areas, owned and operated by Forever Broadcasting, The Wireless Group and latterly, UTV.
Rebrand
On 7 February 2012, UTV Radio announced the station would be rebranded as Signal 107, following the company's buyout of former MNA stations The Wyre and The Severn, which 107.7 The Wolf both merged with. The rebrand took place at midday on Monday 26 March 2012.

1 Charles Manson is an American cult leader. His followers carried out several notorious murders in the late 1960s and inspired the book Helter Skelter.
2 Charles Manson was born on November 12, 1934, he is now 82 years old. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio.
3 His birth name is Charles Milles Maddox.
4 Charles Manson mother was Kathleen Maddox, she was a 16-year-old girl who was both an alcoholic and prostitute. Kathleen later married William Manson, the marriage did not last.
5 Charles was placed in an all boys school. Manson’s mother didn’t want anything to do with him.

21 But it was the confessions of Susan Atkins, while held in detention on suspicion of murdering Gary Hinman during an unrelated incident.
That led detectives to realize that Manson and his followers were involved in the Tate/LA Bianca killings.
22 Manson and his Family were arrested not on suspicion of the murders but simply on the belief that they had vandalized a portion of the Death Valley National Park while they were hiding out in the Mojave Desert.
23 On January 25, 1971, Manson was convicted of first degree murder for directing the deaths of the Tate/LA Bianca victims.
24 He was sentenced to death, but this was automatically commuted to life in prison after California's Supreme Court invalidated all death sentences prior to 1972.
25 Manson is serving his time in Corcoran State Prison in California. Even behind bars, he has still managed to attract followers.
26 In January 2017, it was reported that Manson had been hospitalized in Bakersfield with a serious illness.

3 His birth name is Charles Milles Maddox.
4 Charles Manson mother was Kathleen Maddox, she was a 16-year-old girl who was both an alcoholic and prostitute. Kathleen later married William Manson, the marriage did not last.

【Synopsis】In the last years of the Tang Dynasty, a military governor and warlord named Zhu Wen is out in the countryside when he happens to come across a boy who has been raised by wolves. The warlord decides to take the boy in, adopt him, and name him Zhu You Wen. Zhu Wen then proceeds to launch an ultimately successful coup, usurping the Tang monarch and installing himself as the first Emperor of the Later Liang Dynasty (907-923). The new Emperor names Zhu You Wen as a royal prince.
At court, Zhu You Wen forms a bond with a woman named Ma Zhai Xing, the daughter of a government official.

He told you he was there in Boystown and he told you he wasn't there when the murders took place in 1969. No one heard him and not many wants to hear him now either... Truth hurts.

1 Charles Manson is an American cult leader. His followers carried out several notorious murders in the late 1960s and inspired the book Helter Skelter.
2 Charles Manson was born on November 12, 1934, he is now 82 years old. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio.
3 His birth name is Charles Milles Maddox.
4 Charles Manson mother was Kathleen Maddox, she was a 16-year-old girl who was both an alcoholic and prostitute. Kathleen later married William Manson, the marriage did not last.
5 Charles was placed in an all boys school. Manson’s mother didn’t want anything to do with him.
6 Soon enough Charles was living on the streets and getting by through petty crime. By 1951, Charles began to spend time in prison. The first 32 years of his life were eventually spent behind bars.
7 Manson was married twice. A new chapter in his life began when he met his first wife 17-year-old, Rosalie Jean Willis, in 1955. He then moved with her to California.
8 Rosalie became pregnant, but Charles continued a life of crime again stealing cars. Didn’t take long before he was back behind bars.
9 By 1956, Manson’s wife had left with their child and her new lover. Later Manson had another child with a different woman while being out on probation.
11 The following year he would spearhead a murderous campaign that would make him one of the most infamous figures in criminal history.
12 Manson reflects in many ways personality traits and obsessions that are associated with gurus of cult quasi religious groups that soon began to emerge in the 1960’s and are still with us today.
13 He was pathologically deluded into believing that he was the omen of doom regarding the planet's future.
14 In the same way that cult and evangelist figures today claim prophetic knowledge of the world's end.
15 Charles was not only influenced by drugs such as LSD, but by music of the time such as the Beatles song “Helter Skelter” and by art works.
17 In 1967, Manson gathered a group of followers who shared his passion for an unconventional lifestyle and habitual use of hallucinogenic drugs, such as LSD and magic mushrooms.
18 The family as they became known, moved to san Francisco and later to a deserted ranch in san Fernando valley.
19 At that time his followers, which were numbering around 100, also included a small hard-core unit of impressionable young girls. They began to believe, without question, Manson's claims that he was Jesus and his prophecies of a race war.
20 In 1969, the county sheriff had them in custody, not realizing that he had murder suspects on his hands.
21 But it was the confessions of Susan Atkins, while held in detention on suspicion of murdering Gary Hinman during an unrelated incident.
That led detectives to realize that Manson and his followers were involved in the Tate/LA Bianca killings.
22 Manson and his Family were arrested not on suspicion of the murders but simply on the belief that they had vandalized a portion of the Death Valley National Park while they were hiding out in the Mojave Desert.
23 On January 25, 1971, Manson was convicted of first degree murder for directing the deaths of the Tate/LA Bianca victims.
24 He was sentenced to death, but this was automatically commuted to life in prison after California's Supreme Court invalidated all death sentences prior to 1972.
25 Manson is serving his time in Corcoran State Prison in California. Even behind bars, he has still managed to attract followers.
26 In January 2017, it was reported that Manson had been hospitalized in Bakersfield with a serious illness.
Charles Manson
Charles Milles Manson (born Charles Milles Maddox, November 12, 1934) is an American criminal who led what became known as the Manson Family, a quasi-commune that arose in the California desert in the late 1960s. Manson and his followers committed a series of nine murders at four locations over a period of five weeks in the summer of 1969. In 1971 he was found guilty of conspiracy to commit the murders of seven people: actress Sharon Tate and four other people at Tate's home; and the next day, a married couple, Leno and Rosemary LaBianca; all carried out by members of the group at his instruction. He was convicted of the murders through the joint-responsibility rule, which makes each member of a conspiracy guilty of crimes committed by fellow conspirators in furtherance of the conspiracy's objective. His followers also murdered several other people at other times and locations, and Manson was also convicted for two of these other murders (of Gary Hinman and Donald "Shorty" Shea).

【Synopsis】In the last years of the Tang Dynasty, a military governor and warlord named Zhu Wen is out in the countryside when he happens to come across a boy who has been raised by wolves. The warlord decides to take the boy in, adopt him, and name him Zhu You Wen. Zhu Wen then proceeds to launch an ultimately successful coup, usurping the Tang monarch and installing himself as the first Emperor of the Later Liang Dynasty (907-923). The new Emperor names Zhu You Wen as a royal prince.
At court, Zhu You Wen forms a bond with a woman named Ma Zhai Xing, the daughter of a government official.
Despite his lofty status at court, Zhu You Wen is motivated by a strong sense of justice that was instilled in him during his years of living in the wild. He and Ma Zhai Xing begin to form a romantic bond. And with her support, he plans to temper his adoptive father’s unpopular and overly strict reforms – and battles to foil a series of dastardly plans hatched by his scheming foster brothers.
