Following his match with Goldberg at WrestleMania XX, Lesnar left the WWE and pursued a career in the National Football League (NFL). In which John Green teaches you about Iran's Revolutions. Yes, revolutions plural. What was the1979 Iranian Revolution about? It turns out, Iran has a pretty long history of unrest in order to put power in the hands of the people, and the most recent revolution in 1979 was, at least at first, not necessarily about creating an Islamic state. It certainly turned out to be about that, but it was initially just about people who wanted to get rid of an oppressive regime. Listen up as John teaches you about Iran's long history of revolution. Iran has deployed a fleet of warships to the Gulf of Aden, the republic's naval commander has confirmed. The deployment follows US cruise missile strikes on Yemeni positions thought to be under Houthi rebel control. The Iranian Navy has sent the warships to international waters for a mission that includes entering the area off the southern coast of Yemen, Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayyari confirmed on Wednesday. The area is among the world’s busiest maritime trade routes.
Listen to the full audiobook: http://easyget.us/mabk/30/en/B00V7U45S0/book The Arabian Gulf is now involved in a massive arms race, triggered largely by the fear that Iran will try to use its military forces to intimidate or dominate its neighbors. Iran has threatened to close the Gulf and carried out a wide range of large military exercises to show its capabilities. And Iran has steadily increased its ability to exploit the threat of conventional and asymmetric warfare to maritime traffic in the Gulf. The buildup of Irans naval, air, and missile capabilities poses a wide range of threats to maritime traffic into and outside of the Gulf.
Read your free e-book: http://installapp.us/mebk/50/en/B00EE5NT14/book Following the 1979 Iranian Revolution, Irans film industry, in conforming to the Islamic Republics system of modesty, had to ensure that women on-screen were veiled from the view of men. This prevented Iranian filmmakers from making use of the desiring gaze, a staple cinematic system of looking. In Displaced Allegories Negar Mottahedeh shows that post-revolutionary Iranian filmmakers were forced to create a new visual language for conveying meaning to audiences. She argues that the Iranian film industry found creative ground not in the negation of government regulations but in the cameras adoption of the modest, averted gaze. In the process, the filmic techniques and cinematic technologies were gendered as feminine and ...
Listen to the full audiobook: http://appgame.space/mabk/30/en/B01FQQ2SOS/book Negative portrayals of the West in Iran are often centred around the Cia-engineered coup of 1953, which overthrew Prime Minister Mohammad Mosaddeq, or the hostage-taking crisis in 1979 following the attack on the Us embassy in Tehran. Looking past these iconic events, Ehsan Bakhshandeh explores the deeper anti-imperialistic and anti-hegemonic roots of the hostility to Westernism that is evident in the Iranian press. Distinguishing between negative and outright hostile perceptions of the West which also encompasses Britain, France and Germany the book traces how the West is represented as the occident in the countrys media.from the Qajar period and the Tobacco protests of the late nineteenth century to the ill-f...
The Lockheed Martin RQ-170 Sentinel is an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) developed by Lockheed Martin and operated by the United States Air Force (USAF) for the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA). While the USAF has released few details on the UAV's design or capabilities, defense analysts believe that it is a stealth aircraft fitted with aerial reconnaissance equipment. RQ-170s have been reported to have operated in Afghanistan as part of Operation Enduring Freedom. It has been confirmed that the UAVs have operated over Pakistan and Iran; operations over Pakistan included sorties that collected intelligence before and during the operation which led to the death of Osama bin Laden in May 2011.[2] In December 2011, the Iranian armed forces claimed to have captured an RQ-170 flying over Iran...

Iran inaugurated production line of Dehlavieh ATGM An anti-tank missile (ATM), anti-tank guided missile (ATGM), anti-tank guided weapon (ATGW) or anti-armor guided weapon, is a guided missile primarily designed to hit and destroy heavily armored military vehicles. ATGMs range in size from shoulder-launched weapons, which can be transported by a single soldier, to larger tripod-mounted weapons, which require a squad or team to transport and fire, to vehicle and aircraft mounted missile systems. The introduction to the modern battlefield of smaller, man-portable ATGMs with larger warheads has given infantry the ability to defeat light and medium tanks at great ranges, though main battle tanks (MBTs) using composite and reactive armors have proven to be resistant to smaller ATGMs.[1][2] Ea...

A documentary film about the 1988 tragedy over the Persian Gulf. On 3 July 1988, at the end of the Iran--Iraq War, Iran Air Flight 655 was flying from Tehran to Dubai; the aircraft was shot down by United States missiles fired by the United States Navy guided missile cruiser USS Vincennes as it flew over the Strait of Hormuz. The aircraft, which had been flying in Persian airspace over Persia's territorial waters on its usual flight path, was destroyed. All 290 on board, including 66 children and 16 crew, perished. Ranking seventh among the deadliest disasters in aviation history, the incident retains the highest death toll of any aviation incident in the Indian Ocean and the highest death toll of any incident involving an Airbus A300 anywhere in the world. -- Golfe Persique , Perzische Go...

Speaker: Professor Bernard Lewis Professor Bernard Lewis discusses current events surrounding the Middle East, the Muslim world, and Israel with Dan Diker at the Jerusalem Conference. http://www.jcpa.org
Sohrab Ahmari Assistant Books Editor at the Wall Street Journal · The 17th largest country in the world, the Islamic Republic of Iran commands attention not just because of its burgeoning nuclear program but because of its many roles in world affairs -- as the most important state sponsor of terrorism, as leader of the "rejectionist front" vis-à-vis the Israel-Palestine conflict, as the inspiration for radical Islam elsewhere in the Muslim world. There is also the matter of its suppression of the Green Movement in 2009 and ever since. In this intensive weekend-long conference for high school teachers, we looked at Iran in its larger historical, cultural, and geopolitical context, with lectures by the best scholars in the country.
Featuring: Royce Da 5'9
(Eminem)
Ay, yo
This next song, is a true story
(Come here, bitch!)
Cause some things in this universe, don't make sense
But somehow always seem to fuckin' work
VERSE ONE - Eminem
Driving down I-75, about to hop on 696
I look over, this fucking chick's tryina' fix her makeup, I'm like bitch?
You ain't a plastic surgeon, I advise ya to put up your visor
I'm getting kinda ticked, you're blocking my side mirror
She's like yeah? so? I'm like so?
You gon' need a stitch you keep actin' like that, ho
I look like your husband slut? That's a rhetorical question
You talk to me like you talk to him, I'll fuck you up
In fact, get in the backseat, like the rest of my dates
No bitch rides shotgun, what? Taxi?
Stop and pick you some Maxi Pads up?
Is that what you actually ask me?
(smack)
Bitch reaches over and smacks me
And says I annoy the fuck outta her
Get in the fucking back, put on your slut powder
You slut, what? Shut the fuck up now, or get your feelings hurt
Worse than my last chick, when I accidentally butt dialed her
And she heard me spreading age rumors about her
Turn the radio up louder, make it thump
While I bump that Relapse CD, tryina' hit every bump
In that...till I snap back in that accent
Cause she kept asking me to stop callin' her CUNT
I SAID THAT CUNT
HOOK - Eminem
She said, Marshall you ain't really like that, oh oh oh
Your putting on a show, where's your mic at?
Cause you're breaking my heart, you're breaking my heart
VERSE TWO - Royce
Uh, pull up to the club in a Porsche, not a Pinto
While Marshall's at a white trash party, I'm at drama central
I walk up in there looking at my phone on twitter tweetin'
I'm feelin' a bunch of bitches lookin' at a nigga, cheesin'
I get approached by this little skeeser
She asked me if I'm the real G, cause I'm Gucci from head to feet
I said, yeah, I'm really is, cause I spit in your man's face
Like Cam did that kid on Killa Season
She said I'm feeling a bit of ego
Wait, am I talking wrong?
I said nah, I'm a walking Kanye/Beyonce song.
She said I'm mad at you, I said why?
She said why you never make songs for chicks as if it's hard to do?
I said I make songs for me, leave the studio
And go and fuck the bitch who belongs to makin' songs for you
She said I'm feelin' your whole swagger and flow, can we hook up?
I said, eh, you just used the word swagger so NO
(hook)
VERSE THREE - Eminem
We been ridin' around in this hatchback 'till I'm fucking hunchback
Where the fuck's this party at slutbag cunt? Cut what act?
Think it's an act? Fuck that, I'm tryina' ...?....finest love shack
Or somewhere to fuck at, eh? Don't touch that
You fat dyke, I'm tryina hear some Bagpipes from Baghdad
Don't act like you don't like em', them accents
I rap tight, and I'mma torture 'till we find this place, yeah that's right
Thought it was just past this light, past Van Dyke
Better hit that map right, read them directions
Oh yeah you can't read, and you can't write
Told me that last night, she took my CD out the deck
Snapped in half like, Relapse sucked
I snapped, hit the gas like, blew through the light
Spun out, hit a patch of black ice
Forgot we had a trailer hitch to the back
We jackknifed, bitch flew out of the car
I laughed like, she deserved it
She didn't think I'd act like that in person
(Yo, Royce, Marshall just crashed right in front of the club!)
VERSE FOUR - Royce
Tell him I'll be there in a minute, I'm tryina break up this cat fight
Between my mistress and my damn wife
Then a chick wanted a hug, but she was fat
So I gave her that and told her to scat
I'm not mean, I'm cute
On my way to the front door, taking the scenic route
To avoid this chick with a lace front
Lookin' like Venus and Serena's hooves
I'm jus' sayin', those chicks got horse asses, they been attractive
Hope when they see me they don't slap me with they tennis rackets
My mind drifted back to this shit
I seen my wife push her down, step over her body, and smack the mistress
Police outside, I turn and pass the gat to Vishis
Then I step out and see my evil twin
He gives me an evil grin
He mugs the mistress, turns around and gives the misses hugs and kisses
Looks at me twisted, like Nickel "watch this shit!"
He smacks the dentures outta the mouth of the fat bitch he rode with
Looks back to mention, "Royce, it's good to be back to business"
