This is a Kirloskar DA 10 Diesel Generator in action pretty much at idle load. This diesel engine is air cooled, single cylinder, produces 10 HP at 1500 rpm.

The generator outputs single phase alternating current, 50 HZ, 7.5 KVa max @ 1500 rpm, 230 volts.
The battery hooked up to it is a 150 AH, 12 Volt lead acid. An over kill to start this small generator, but its used once in a while on a 1972, 3 cylinder, Ruston Hornsby.
