Father and Son (Italian: Padre e figlio) is a 1994 drama film written and directed by Pasquale Pozzessere. It won two David di Donatello Awards, for best cinematography and best editing.
Father & Son is a four-part Irish television crime thriller produced by Left Bank Pictures and Octagon Films. The series was broadcast in the Republic of Ireland on RTÉ One and in the United Kingdom on ITV.
Written by Frank Deasy, the serial depicts the return of Michael O'Connor (played by Dougray Scott) to his native Ireland, after spending several years imprisoned in the United Kingdom. A parallel storyline follows O'Connor's son and sister-in-law in Manchester. The serial was filmed entirely on location in Dublin and Wicklow from October to December 2008, with only minimal second-unit filming in Manchester. Father & Son was first broadcast on RTÉ One in June 2009 and has since received positive reaction from the Irish press. It was broadcast in the UK on the ITV network during June 2010.
The series focuses on inner city crime life in both the United Kingdom and Ireland. Ex-criminal Michael O'Connor (Dougray Scott) comes back to Ireland to live with his new pregnant partner Anna, free from his past life of crime in the UK. Michael was arrested and spent years in prison in the UK, leaving his wife Lynne and son Séan (Reece Noi) on their own. Three days later his wife Lynne was murdered, leaving Michael devastated, and he quickly turns his back on crime. He returns to Ireland, leaving his son Séan behind in the care of Lynne's sister Connie.
Coach in ice hockey is the person responsible for directing the team during games and practices, prepares strategy and decides which players will participate in games.
The specific responsibilities of a coach vary according to the level at which they are coaching. For example, unique to coaching at the professional level, coaches need to have skills in dealing with the media. At the professional level, as each game is given great importance, a coach will analyse past games and prepare for future games. Coaches also are important in determining the style of hockey the team plays. While winning is a primary responsibility at the professional level, at the other extreme of minor hockey, teaching is given greater importance. In the case of coaching of youth hockey, while strategy and tactics are still required, there would be the added responsibility of teaching fundamental skills and the rules of the game, providing a fun and safe environment, developing character, teaching physical fitness and the ability to communicate in a positive manner.

Jeff Hanson (March 3, 1978 – June 5, 2009) was a singer-songwriter, guitarist and multi-instrumentalist whose voice was described in a 2005 Paste review as an "angelic falsetto, a cross between Alison Krauss and Art Garfunkel that is often (understandably) mistaken for a female contralto."
Hanson's vocal style is sometimes compared to Elliott Smith's singing manner.
Hanson was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and raised in Waukesha, Wisconsin. In a lengthy interview for the now defunct daily online magazine Splendind he said:
He started learning guitar at the age of four years and was involved in musical theatre at 10, then shortly afterwards joined a boy's choir for 3 years. By the age of 13 formed the emo/indie rock band M.I.J. with bandmates Ryan Scheife (bass) and Mike Kennedy (drums). The band released a 7" on One Percent Records, an EP and a full album on Caulfield Records and remained active for seven years.
He began a solo career in 2003 and was the first artist to be signed to Kill Rock Stars Records after sending in an unsolicited demo tape. He released three albums for the label, Son in 2003 and Jeff Hanson in 2005 recorded at Presto! Recording Studios with AJ Mogis and Mike Mogis. His third album titled Madam Owl was released on August 19, 2008.
Hello, it's me, your only son
Writing to you now because I haven't seen you in so long
Even though we live in the same home
You're the father that I've never known
I get up each day, you're already gone
Drive past your office late at night
And see the light still on
Why do you care more about your job
Than about the family falling apart?
Don't even know you
Can't understand you
Never stopped to think of anyone else
Hello, my boy, your letter hurt me so
18 years I've worked so hard, while I missed seeing you grow
I was just trying to provide for you
All my efforts thrown back in my face
Every morning I say a prayer for you
As I lose another day making it the best for you
Someday you'll wake up and you'll realize
And you'll thank me for how hard I tried
It's always been about you
But I'm a person too
I feel like giving up
I've had about enough
I gave up more for you than you'll ever understand
But you were never there for me when life went bad
Son, I always tried to give you all the things I never had
