Heaven is a heavy metal band from Sydney, Australia that formed in 1980. The band recorded three albums and toured throughout the United States during the 1980s. The group's original style was similar to that of AC/DC but in later years went in a more commercial heavy metal direction along the lines of Judas Priest.
The band was originally formed in Adelaide under the name Fat Lip, which featured Scottish-born Allan Fryer, bassist Laurie Marlow, formerly of Almost Human, and drummer Joe Turtur. Soon after the band moved to Sydney, AC/DC singer Bon Scott died in London and some unsubstantiated reports suggested that band was considering Fryer as a replacement. Fryer left Fat Lip and returned to Adelaide but he was never called upon to audition. Once back in Sydney, Fat Lip now consisted of Fryer and Marlow, Aldo Civitico (ex-Scandal) on drums and guitarist Bradford Kelly, formerly of John Swan's band Swanee. Civitico dropped out just before the band signed its record deal, and was replaced briefly by Theo Kats, who himself soon left to join a band called Europe, and Turtur returned to the group. John Haese was also added as rhythm guitarist. Shortly afterward, Fat Lip came to the attention of Michael Browning, a Sydney music industry figure who had managed AC/DC in the 1970s and had just started a new record label called DeLuxe, to which he had signed INXS. Fat Lip began recording an album for DeLuxe, but changed its name to Heaven during the sessions. The album, Twilight of Mischief, was preceded in late 1981 by a single, "Fantasy". A second single, "In the Beginning" became the album's title track when it was released by RCA in the US under that name.
Heaven is the third album released by brother and sister duo BeBe & CeCe Winans and their second released on Capitol Records. It was number one on the Billboard Top Gospel Albums chart.
Smooth jazz musician Lonnie Liston Smith covered the title song from his 1990 album, Love Goddess
Destiny's Child singer Michelle Williams, featuring fellow singer Carl Thomas also covered the title song in the closing track from her 2002 solo debut, Heart to Yours.
Singles
"Heaven (Must Be There)" (sometimes shortened to just "Heaven") is a song by Eurogliders from their album This Island. The song was released as a 7" vinyl and a 12" in May 1984.
The single brought the band to fame, especially in Australia, where the single peaked at No. 2 on Kent Music Report Singles Chart in 1984. It was also a major hit in New Zealand, peaking at No. 6, and a more modest hit in North America, hitting No. 47 in Canada, and No. 65 in the US.
Angel is the third single on Theory of a Deadman's fifth studio album Savages. The single was released on February 24, 2015.
"Angel" is a ballad about a man who's in love with an angel but realizes that he eventually has to let her go. Randy Shatkowski of Underground Pulse describes the song as an "electronic-tinged lost love ballad" and noted Tyler Connolly's vocals to be his most vulnerable yet.
"Angel" peaked at No. 2 on the Mainstream Rock chart, making it the band's highest peaking single there since "Lowlife" reached No. 1 in 2011. The song has also gained airplay on SiriusXM the Pulse.
The second season of the television series Angel, the spin-off of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, premiered on September 26, 2000 on The WB and concluded its 22-episode season on May 22, 2001. It maintained its previous timeslot, airing Tuesdays at 9:00 pm ET, following Buffy.
Missing is an EP by Drunk Tank, released on October 31, 1995 by Radial Records. Recorded in 1992, the album was released posthumously after the band had dissolved. The tracks "Missing" and "Accidents" were recorded at Steve Albini's studio in November 1992 and "Crooked Mile" was recorded for a BBC Radio 1 John Peel Session in August 1992.
All songs written and composed by Alex Barker, Steven Cerio and Julian Mills.

"Chubby & The Turnpikes" never had it so good! The Tavares Brothers; Butch, Chubby, Pooch, Ralph and Tiny came from Cape Verde via New Bedford, MA and recorded several singles. In 1973 they changed their name to Tavares and had their first #1 R&B; hit with a cover of Hall & Oates "She's Gone" at the end of 1974. 1975 introduced them to the pop audience in the US with "It Only Takes A Minute" another #1 R&B; which led them to be the opening act for the Jackson 5. 1976 LP "Sky High" contained the infectiously catchy "Heaven Must Be Missing An Angel" but caused them to be labeled as a disco group, especially after they recorded "More Than A Woman" for the Saturday Night Fever soundtrack. R&B; still embraced them and their last #1 there was "Whodunit" in 1977. Their songs are kept alive by n...

Did i dream you could you be true
Cause when I'm with you I can't believe that you're with me
Girl I never thought I'd ever find you
And be the one who's holding you,and loving you
Baby you're amazing to me, maybe you're the reason I believe
Chorus:
Everytime I hear your voice, everytime I feel your kiss
It tells me heaven must be missing an angel
Everytime I see your face, I'm thinking you must be a vision
Heaven must be missing an angel
You're perfection, Love's expression
In every way you show me what it's all about
You're the answer to all my prayers [..oh baby]
It's like you brought me higher love from up above
Chorus:
Everytime I hear your voice, everytime I feel your kiss
It tells me heaven must be missing an angel
Everytime I see your face, I'm thinking must be a vision
Heaven must be missing an angel
Baby you're amazing to me, maybe you're the reason I believe, I believe
Chorus (3x):
Everytime I hear your voice, everytime I feel your kiss
It tells me heaven must be missing an angel
Everytime I see your face, I'm thinking must be a vision
