ROAD CLOSURES:

The southern car park on the corner of Albert Street and Barrine Drive at Acton will be closed from 7am until further notice.

Both directions of Hamer Street in Gungahlin will be closed from 7am to 6pm until November 4.

Wanderlight Avenue in Lawson will be closed in both directions until October 31.

Newcastle Street's left-turn lane into Whyalla Street in Fyshwick will be closed until Friday.

WHAT'S ON TODAY:

The Canberra Wind Symphony will present In Full Flight on tonight in support of beyondblue. 

Everyman Theatre will take Canberrans back to 1981 with The Normal Heart. Larry Kramer's play, to be performed at the Canberra Theatre Centre until Saturday night.

The third edition of Future Possible will explore the future of writing with game developer Van Deventer and author Dan Golding on Wednesday night.

Documentary New Castle examines the impact of urbanisation on a remote mountain village in the Shanxi Province. It will air Wednesday night.

Contour 556, a collection of public art works near the southern shore of Lake Burley Griffin, showcases the work of 50 local, national and international artists responding to the layers of Canberra's history. 

Make plans to see Dances for David, Fresh Glass, Mutable Realities and Diane Arbus: American Portraits in October, before it's too late.
