Outrageously violent, time-twisting, and in love with language, Pulp Fiction was widely considered the most influential American movie of the 1990s. Director and co-screenwriter Quentin Tarantino synthesized such seemingly disparate traditions as the syncopated language of David Mamet; the serious violence of American gangster movies, crime movies, and films noirs mixed up with the wacky violence of cartoons, video games, and Japanese animation; and the fragmented story-telling structures of such experimental classics as Citizen Kane, Rashomon, and La jetée. A violent armed robber dubbed "The Skull Cracker" who is serving 13 life sentences has gone missing after temporarily being allowed out of prison on licence.
Michael Wheatley earned his notorious nickname after pistol-whipping victims during raids on banks and building societies, stealing around £45,000.
The 55-year-old carried out 13 raids in total between June 2001 and April 2002 in branches from Southampton in Hampshire to Royston in Hertfordshire.
He was on parole from a 27-year sentence for other robberies at the time and was jailed at the Old Bailey in October 2002 after admitting 13 charges of robbery and 13 of possessing an imitation firearm - a blank firing semi-automatic pistol.
A manhunt is under way after he failed to return to HMP Standford Hill open prison on the Isle of Sheppey.
Anyone who sees him has been warned not to approach him and to contact police.
A Kent Police spokesman said Wheatley, originally of Limehouse in east London, has links across south east England.
Conservative backbencher Philip Davies said that whoever had allowed Wheatley out of prison was "a berk" and should be sacked.
The MP for Shipley in West Yorkshire said: "It is completely ludicrous that a serving life sentence prisoner is even in an open prison where they can simply walk out.
"As far as I am concerned whoever allowed him to be in an open prison should be sacked, it is a complete disgrace."
A Prison Service spokesman said: "This is now a matter for the police and we are supporting them in their investigation.
"We are toughening up the release on temporary licence scheme so that prisoners will be subject to stricter risk assessments and tagged."

Jackson, Mississippi
Jackson is the capital of and the largest city in the U.S. state of Mississippi. It is located primarily in Hinds County, serving as one of two county seats there; segments of the city overlap Madison County and Rankin County. Jackson is on the Pearl River, which drains into the Gulf of Mexico, and it is part of the Jackson Prairie region of the state. The city is named after General Andrew Jackson, who was honored for his role in the Battle of New Orleans during the War of 1812 and later served as U.S. President.
The current slogan for the city is "Jackson, Mississippi: City with Soul." It has had numerous musicians prominent in blues, gospel and jazz, and was known for decades for its illegal nightclubs on the Gold Coast; one site has been designated for the Mississippi Blues Trail.
The city is the anchor for the metro area. While its population declined from 184,256 at the 2000 census to 173,514 at the 2010 census, the metropolitan region grew. The 2010 census ascribed a population of 539,057 to the five-county Jackson metropolitan area.

Jackson, Michigan
Jackson is a city located along Interstate 94 in the south central area of the U.S. state of Michigan, about 40 miles (64 km) west of Ann Arbor and 35 miles (56 km) south of Lansing. It is the county seat of Jackson County. As of the 2010 census, the city population was 33,534. It is the principal city of the Jackson Metropolitan Statistical Area, which includes Jackson County and has a population of 160,248.
It was founded in 1829 and named after President Andrew Jackson.
Geography
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 10.99 square miles (28.46 km2), of which 10.87 square miles (28.15 km2) is land and 0.12 square miles (0.31 km2) is water.
History
On July 3, 1829, Horace Blackman, accompanied by Alexander Laverty, a land surveyor, and an Indian guide forded the Grand River and made camp for the night at what is now Trail and N. Jackson Street. They arrived in Jackson on a well-traveled Indian trail leading west from Ann Arbor. Blackman hired Laverty and Pewytum to guide him west. Blackman returned to Ann Arbor and then Monroe and registered his claim for 160 acres (65 ha) at two dollars an acre. Blackman returned to Jackson in August 1829, with his brother Russell. Together they cleared land and built a cabin on the corner of what would become Ingham and Trail streets. The town was first called Jacksonopolis. Later, it was renamed Jacksonburgh. Finally, in 1838 the town's name was changed to simply Jackson.

Violent (song)
Violent is New Zealand band Stellar*'s fourth single, and their third single from their debut album Mix. This song won the "Single of the Year" award at the 2000 New Zealand "Tui" Music Awards. The song was featured on the Nature's Best 2 compilation of what were voted the top 100 New Zealand songs from 1926 until 2001 by APRA to celebrate their 75th anniversary. Judging by the tracklist, Violent was placed at #46 in this list. The single spent six weeks within the top 20 in the RIANZ singles charts, peaking at #11. The music video to the song was directed by Jonathan King, and depicts the band playing within a small room, amongst other scenes such as one which Runga plays the role of a nurse in surgery.

The Harris Brothers
Donald "Don" Harris and Ronald "Ron" Harris (born October 23, 1960) are American twin brothers who achieved fame as professional wrestlers. Throughout their careers, the brothers teamed together under a variety of ring names. Ironically, for most their career, Ron was known as Don and Don was known as Ron, due to copyright issues emerging from their early career.
Both Harris Brothers have retired from wrestling and currently have a Nashville-based management company called O-Seven Artist Management. Ron and Don still reside in Nashville, TN with their families.
Early life
Don and Ron Harris were born in Florida. In the 1980s, Ron and Don relocated to Nashville, Tennessee in order to become professional wrestlers. Ron Harris worked as a police officer in West Palm Beach, Florida prior to moving to Tennessee with his brother.

A violent armed robber dubbed "The Skull Cracker" who is serving 13 life sentences has gone missing after temporarily being allowed out of prison on licence.
Michael Wheatley earned his notorious nickname after pistol-whipping victims during raids on banks and building societies, stealing around £45,000.
The 55-year-old carried out 13 raids in total between June 2001 and April 2002 in branches from Southampton in Hampshire to Royston in Hertfordshire.
He was on parole from a 27-year sentence for other robberies at the time and was jailed at the Old Bailey in October 2002 after admitting 13 charges of robbery and 13 of possessing an imitation firearm - a blank firing semi-automatic pistol.
A manhunt is under way after he failed to return to HMP Standford Hill open prison on the Isle of Sheppey.
Anyone who sees him has been warned not to approach him and to contact police.
A Kent Police spokesman said Wheatley, originally of Limehouse in east London, has links across south east England.
Conservative backbencher Philip Davies said that whoever had allowed Wheatley out of prison was "a berk" and should be sacked.
The MP for Shipley in West Yorkshire said: "It is completely ludicrous that a serving life sentence prisoner is even in an open prison where they can simply walk out.
"As far as I am concerned whoever allowed him to be in an open prison should be sacked, it is a complete disgrace."
A Prison Service spokesman said: "This is now a matter for the police and we are supporting them in their investigation.
"We are toughening up the release on temporary licence scheme so that prisoners will be subject to stricter risk assessments and tagged."

Straight Outta Compton co-star Jason Mitchell is in talks to join the cast of Kong: Skull Island. If the actor does sign on, he will join his ‘Straight Outta Compton’ cast mate Corey Antonio Hawkins as well as Tom Hiddleston and Brie Larson. Samuel L. Jackson and Tom Wilkinson are being eyed to replace Michael Keaton and J.K. Simmons in this next installment. Directed by Jordan Vogt-Roberts the story centers on a group of explorers who go on an expedition to Skull Island, the home of King Kong. The film is expected to hit theatres on March 10th, 2017.

Outrageously violent, time-twisting, and in love with language, Pulp Fiction was widely considered the most influential American movie of the 1990s. Director and co-screenwriter Quentin Tarantino synthesized such seemingly disparate traditions as the syncopated language of David Mamet; the serious violence of American gangster movies, crime movies, and films noirs mixed up with the wacky violence of cartoons, video games, and Japanese animation; and the fragmented story-telling structures of such experimental classics as Citizen Kane, Rashomon, and La jetée. The Oscar-winning script by Tarantino and Roger Avary intertwines three stories, featuring Samuel L. Jackson and John Travolta, in the role that single-handedly reignited his career, as hit men who have philosophical interchanges on such topics as the French names for American fast food products; Bruce Willis as a boxer out of a 1940s B-movie; and such other stalwarts as Harvey Keitel, Tim Roth, Christopher Walken, Eric Stoltz, Ving Rhames, and Uma Thurman, whose dance sequence with Travolta proved an instant classic.

A violent armed robber dubbed "The Skull Cracker" who is serving 13 life sentences has gone missing after temporarily being allowed out of prison on licence.
Michael Wheatley earned his notorious nickname after pistol-whipping victims during raids on banks and building societies, stealing around £45,000.
The 55-year-old carried out 13 raids in total between June 2001 and April 2002 in branches from Southampton in Hampshire to Royston in Hertfordshire.
He was on parole from a 27-year sentence for other robberies at the time and was jailed at the Old Bailey in October 2002 after admitting 13 charges of robbery and 13 of possessing an imitation firearm - a blank firing semi-automatic pistol.
A manhunt is under way after he failed to return to HMP Standford Hill open prison on the Isle of Sheppey.
Anyone who sees him has been warned not to approach him and to contact police.
A Kent Police spokesman said Wheatley, originally of Limehouse in east London, has links across south east England.
Conservative backbencher Philip Davies said that whoever had allowed Wheatley out of prison was "a berk" and should be sacked.
The MP for Shipley in West Yorkshire said: "It is completely ludicrous that a serving life sentence prisoner is even in an open prison where they can simply walk out.
"As far as I am concerned whoever allowed him to be in an open prison should be sacked, it is a complete disgrace."
A Prison Service spokesman said: "This is now a matter for the police and we are supporting them in their investigation.
"We are toughening up the release on temporary licence scheme so that prisoners will be subject to stricter risk assessments and tagged."

This film describes and demonstrates a prefrontal lobotomy, an operative procedure employed in mental disorders resistive to other methods of treatment. The procedure consists of cutting the white matter in each frontal lobe in the plane of the coronal suture. This passes just anterior to the frontal horn of the ventricle and interrupts the anterior thalamic radiation. This film includes a written description of the procedure, review of landmarks on the skull and frontal lobe on a demonstration skull and brain, operation on a live patient, and X-rays taken after the operation. FILM DESCRIPTION:
Al Pacino stars as Tony Montana, an exiled Cuban criminal who goes to work for Miami drug lord Robert Loggia. Montana rises to the top of Florida's crime chain, appropriating Loggia's cokehead mistress (Michelle Pfeiffer) in the process. Howard Hawks' "X Marks the Spot" motif in depicting the story line's many murders is dispensed with in the 1983 Scarface; instead, we are inundated with blood by the bucketful, especially in the now-infamous buzz saw scene. One carry-over from the original Scarface is Tony Montana's incestuous yearnings for his sister Gina (Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio). The screenplay for the 1983 Scarface was written by Oliver Stone.
