Christian

A Christian ( pronunciation ) is a person who adheres to Christianity, an Abrahamic, monotheistic religion based on the life and teachings of Jesus Christ. "Christian" derives from the Koine Greek word Christós (Χριστός), a translation of the Biblical Hebrew term mashiach.

There are diverse interpretations of Christianity which sometimes conflict. However, "Whatever else they might disagree about, Christians are at least united in believing that Jesus has a unique significance." The term "Christian" is also used adjectivally to describe anything associated with Christianity, or in a proverbial sense "all that is noble, and good, and Christ-like." It is also used as a label to identify people who associate with the cultural aspects of Christianity, irrespective of personal religious beliefs or practices.

According to a 2011 Pew Research Center survey, there were 2.2 billion Christians around the world in 2010, up from about 600 million in 1910. By 2050, the Christian population is expected to exceed 3 billion. According to a 2012 Pew Research Center survey Christianity will remain the world's largest religion in 2050, if current trends continue.

Teacher

A teacher (also called a school teacher) is a person who provides education for students.

Duties and functions

The role of teacher is often formal and ongoing, carried out at a school or other place of formal education. In many countries, a person who wishes to become a teacher must first obtain specified professional qualifications or credentials from a university or college. These professional qualifications may include the study of pedagogy, the science of teaching. Teachers, like other professionals, may have to continue their education after they qualify, a process known as continuing professional development. Teachers may use a lesson plan to facilitate student learning, providing a course of study which is called the curriculum.

A teacher's role may vary among cultures. Teachers may provide instruction in literacy and numeracy, craftsmanship or vocational training, the arts, religion, civics, community roles, or life skills.

A teacher who facilitates education for an individual may also be described as a personal tutor, or, largely historically, a governess.

Strap

A strap, sometimes also called strop, is an elongated flap or ribbon, usually of fabric or leather.

Thin straps are used as part of clothing or baggage, or bedding such as a sleeping bag. See for example spaghetti strap, shoulder strap. A strap differs from a belt mainly in that a strap is usually integral to the item of clothing; either can be used in combination with buckles.

Straps are also used as fasteners to attach and bind items, to objects, animals (for example a saddle on a horse) and people (for example a watch on a wrist), or even to tie down people and animals, as on an apparatus for corporal punishment. Occasionally a strap is specified after what it binds or holds, e.g. chin strap.

Mere two-inch-wide nylon vehicle tow/recovery straps are commonly rated at 20,000 lbs. break strength.Webbing is a particular type of strap that is a strong fabric woven as a flat strip or tube that is also often used in place of rope. Modern webbing is typically made from exceptionally high-strength material, and is used in automobile seat belts, furniture manufacturing, transportation, towing, military apparel, cargo fasteners, and many other fields.

Tiger Shroff

Jai Hemant Shroff (born 2 March 1990) better known as Tiger Shroff is an Indian film actor and martial artist. He is the son of Bollywood veteran actor Jackie Shroff, and made his debut opposite Kriti Sanon in Sajid Nadiadwala's film Heropanti, a remake of the Telugu film Parugu.

Early life

Tiger Shroff was born as Jai Hemant Shroff on 2 March 1990 to Indian film actor Jackie Shroff and Ayesha (née Dutt). He has one sister, Krishna, who is three years younger. Shroff's paternal grandparents were Kakubhai Shroff, a Gujarati astrologer, and Rita Shroff, an ethnic Turk from Kazakhstan, while his maternal grandfather was Air Vice-Marshal Ranjan Dutt, a Bengali, who was married to Claude-Marie de Cavey, a Belgian countess. He did his schooling at the American School of Bombay and attended Amity University.

Shroff helped Aamir Khan build his physique for Dhoom 3. He also holds a fifth degree black belt in Taekwondo.

Acting career

In September 2009, Shroff was said to have declined the lead role in the remake of TV show Fauji. In January 2010, it was reported that Subash Ghai would be launching Shroff in the remake of his father's 1983 film Hero, though Shroff eventually rejected the offer. In May 2011, it was reported that Aamir Khan was also keen on signing Shroff, however, the news was eventually termed as false. In June 2012, Shroff was finally signed on by Sajid Nadiadwala to make his debut in Heropanti.

Christine Caine

Christine Caine (born 23 September 1966) is an Australian activist, evangelist and international speaker. Caine and her husband Nick are best known for founding The A21 Campaign in 2008, a 501(c)(3) non-profit, non-governmental organization that combats human trafficking, as well as Equip & Empower Ministries, which seeks to aid the development and growth of Christian churches and church leaders. In 2015, Caine founded Propel Women, an organization designed to honor the calling of every woman, empower her to lead, equip her for success, and develop a sense of God-given purpose. Caine has written several books, including "A Life Unleashed", "Run to Win", "Can I Have (And Do) It All, Please?", "Undaunted", and "Core Issues", and has spoken about her passion for God, the local church and justice at conferences across the globe.

Early life and education

Christine Caine was adopted at birth and was raised by her Greek Orthodox immigrant parents in public commission housing in Lalor Park, Sydney.
