ARMED thugs have raided a jewellery store in Toorak after barging in with a machete, a gun and what is believed to have been a hammer before smashing the shop up.
Police said three bandits with their faces covered started to smash the interior up before stealing items at about 11am.
The trio, described as being of African appearance, left the scene in a silver Hyundai parked in Wallace Avenue.
