Erol Alkan (born 30 May 1974) is a London-based electro DJ of Turkish Cypriot descent.
In 1993, Erol Alkan started DJing in various indie nightclubs in London.
In 1995, he was a resident DJ of club night 'Going Underground' co-founded by Glyn Peppiatt and James Dickie. It was held weekly on Mondays at the Plastic People venue which was situated at its original Oxford Street location in Central London.
In 1997, Erol re-launched the club under a new name: Trash. Over the next years, Trash became one of the most influential clubs of its time. Until its closure in 2007, Trash saw performances by Peaches, LCD Soundsystem, Klaxons, Bloc Party, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Electric Six and many more up and coming bands.
From 2001 onwards, Erol Alkan started to play regular DJ sets outside Trash, focusing on dance music, influenced by his sets at Bugged Out. Bugged Out are credited as launching Erol's dance music career after offering him a residency halfway through his debut set for them at Fabric, when Erol filled in for David Holmes who had missed a flight into London. His profile increased considerably during 2003 when he was voted 'Best Breakthrough DJ' by Muzik magazine, and in 2006, when he earned the Mixmag 2006 "DJ of the Year" award. Erol has also been voted Datatransmissions 'DJ Of The Year' in both 2008 and 2009, which is seen as an alternative to the DJ Mag Top 100 awards but consists only of British DJs.
Sydney /ˈsɪdni/ is the state capital of New South Wales and the most populous city in Australia and Oceania. Located on Australia's east coast, the metropolis surrounds the world's largest natural harbour, and sprawls towards the Blue Mountains to the west. Residents of Sydney are known as "Sydneysiders". Sydney is the second official seat and second official residence of the Governor-General of Australia, the Prime Minister of Australia and the Cabinet of Australia.
The Sydney area has been inhabited by indigenous Australians since the Upper Paleolithic period. The first British settlers arrived in 1788 to found Sydney as a penal colony, the first European settlement in Australia. Since convict transportation ended in the mid-19th century, the city has transformed from a colonial outpost into a major global cultural and economic centre.
The population of Sydney at the time of the 2011 census was 4.39 million, 1.5 million of which were born overseas, representing many different nationalities and making Sydney one of the most multicultural cities in the world. There are more than 250 different languages spoken in Sydney and about one-third of residents speak a language other than English at home.

Alex Sushon, known by his stage name Bok Bok, is an English music producer and artist.
Alex Sushon is the founder and label manager of London based record label Night Slugs, which has featured releases by Girl Unit, L-Vis 1990, Jam City, Egyptrixx, Helix, P Jam, Pearson Sound, and Mosca. Night Slugs sprang from the clubnight started by Sushon, aka Bok Bok, and James Connolly, aka L-Vis 1990, after they connected on MySpace. "Bok Bok already had a solid grounding in sound-system culture; his interest was piqued by a DJ Slimzee mix in 2003, and then, as the grime scene evolved, he shied away toward raw, upbeat grooves from further afield: Baltimore breaks, Detroit ghetto-tech, the footwork/ghetto house hybrids in Chi-Town, and South African arch riddim constructions". Under Bok Bok and L-Vis 1990's guidance, the label/collective has developed a sound which was described by Spin Magazine as a mutable hybrid of grime, house, electro, R&B, techno, hip-hop, and dubstep. Bok Bok's first EP release, entitled Southside, was described as having "a muscular grime foundation with thick bass, bright synths" by XLR8R Magazine. In March 2015 Bok Bok paired up with London Keyboardist/Composer Sweyn Jupiter for double A-Side single , ‘Papaya Lipgloss’. The track was released on Night Slugs on 17th March. The sensual club mix fuses synesthetic keyboards and glossy electro-funk.
Ellen Allien (born in Berlin as Ellen Fraatz) is a German electronic musician, music producer, and the founder of BPitch Control music label. Her album Stadtkind was dedicated to the city of Berlin, and she cites the culture of reunified Berlin as one of the main inspirations for her music. She sings in both German and English. Her music is best described as a blend of IDM and Techno music, which is dance-floor oriented and has noticeable experimental elements. She currently lives in Berlin.
Ellen Allien was born and grew up in West Berlin. During 1989, she lived in London where she first came into contact with electronic music. When she later returned to Berlin, electronic music had become increasingly popular in Germany. In 1992, she became resident DJ at the Bunker, Tresor, and E-Werk. She started her own show on the Berlin radio station Kiss FM and created her own record label, calling them both "Braincandy". Due to problems with distribution, she gave the Braincandy label up in 1997 and instead began organizing parties with the name, "Pitch Control". Allien created the label BPitch Control in 1999.

Erol Alkan & Boys Noize - Yeah/Lemonade (LIVE @ Bamboo Bar in Philadelphia 9/5/10)

MANNY'S CONFIDENTIAL MIX - A personal view of electronic and club music. CDJ mix by Manny Rizzuto ABOUT ME: I fell in love with music when I was about 8 years old. I was strongly influenced by the 90s commercial dance music at the time, but because of my parents I was also able to get familiar with artists such as Madonna, Sting and Pink Floyd, as well as classical music composers. I discovered underground club music in 2004 and never stopped following it since then. I started djing about 3 years ago, first with my friends' equipment, then using a dj equipment of my own. I'm also getting into music production territory, as I'm practicing with programs such as Ableton Live, and I hope one day to make my very first EP. Recently I started collaborating with the Italian webradio Radio Bomba...
