Oregon (i/ˈɔːrᵻɡən/ AWR-ə-gən) is a state in the Pacific Northwest region of the United States. Oregon is bordered on the west by the Pacific Ocean, on the north by Washington, on the south by California, on the east by Idaho, and on the southeast by Nevada. The Columbia River delineates much of Oregon's northern boundary, and the Snake River delineates much of the eastern boundary. The parallel 42° north delineates the southern boundary with California and Nevada. It is one of only three states of the contiguous United States to have a coastline on the Pacific Ocean, and the proximity to the ocean heavily influences the state's mild winter climate, despite the latitude.
Oregon was inhabited by many indigenous tribes before Western traders, explorers, and settlers arrived. An autonomous government was formed in the Oregon Country in 1843, the Oregon Territory was created in 1848, and Oregon became the 33rd state on February 14, 1859. Today, at 98,000 square miles, Oregon is the ninth largest and, with a population of 4 million, 26th most populous U.S. state. The capital of Oregon is Salem, the second most populous of its cities, with 160,614 residents (2013 estimate). With 609,456 residents (2013 estimate), Portland is the largest city in Oregon and ranks 29th in the U.S. Its metro population of 2,314,554 (2013 estimate) is 24th. The Willamette Valley in western Oregon is the state's most densely populated area, home to eight of the ten most populous cities.

Mariota said he’s autographed a couple of Sports Illustrated magazines, where’s he’s on the cover this week, for the third time in his career, but aside from teasing he’s taking from the team, it’s been no big deal.
http://www.expedia.com/Portland.d178299.Destination-Travel-Guides Welcome to Portland, Oregon, where you can experience the laid-back atmosphere of the Pacific Northwest amid beautiful natural surroundings. A Portland tour is easily accomplished on foot; this city was designed for pedestrians, so you’ll be able to get around quickly. As you stroll along, you’ll find plenty of parks, fountains, and buildings old and new to explore. Be warned, this city is known for its sudden showers, so make sure you bring an umbrella to shield yourself until the sun makes a triumphant return. If you like a good brew, you’re going to love Portland’s alter-ego, Beervana – so named thanks to all the breweries located here. Wine snobs, don’t despair; you’ll find plenty to drink (responsibly) in the Willame...

In this travel video tour of Portland, Oregon, I travel to Portland, one of the most unique cities in the United States. I started my trip off by hopping off a plane and then immediately hopping onto a bus. But not just any bus, a bus operated by Brewvana Brewery Tours, the mostly women-run craft beer brewery tour company. Portland, or know as Beervana to some, is home to 55 breweries within its borders, and is truly a beer-lover's paradise. On my tour we made stops at Rogue Ales & Spirits, Laurelwood Pubic House & Brewery, Widmer Brothers Brewery and Sidecar Bar, where I had the chance to sit down over a pint with the founder and owner of Brewvana, Ashley Rose Salvitti. While in Portland, I stayed at the Tiny House Hotel, a hotel made up of, you guessed it, tiny houses. In the next po...

This video captures the full audio of our very first recorded production of "King John," done in 1959 (this was our second production), along with all surviving images by Dwaine E. Smith. The performance was recorded by Don Hunter. At the beginning of the video you will also see Carl Ritchie's review of the audiotapes, done in 1996. This recording begins our second cycle of the chronicle history plays. As Carl notes in his review: “Sidelight Anecdote: It was in a production of this play we had a near-miss accident. Bill Oyler (Philip the Bastard) accidentally flung his sword into the audience. It landed right between two nice old ladies who, unhurt, took it in stride. An inch or two either way, and the show would probably NOT have gone on.” This digital version of the audiotapes is made p...

Here I share with you another mix, as it is the case with all my mixes, it was spontaneous, so if you hear a mistake here in there take it in stride and just enjoy the music. Also I did not include many pictures because it takes a long time :D. Now enjoy one of the GREATS from the Hi_nRg era. Mr Paul Parker.

This video was taken from Section 107 in the North End of Providence Park (standing amongst the "Timber Army") in Portland, Oregon, during the 2014 MLS All Star Game - the MLS All Stars vs. FC Bayern Munich. http://www.mlssoccer.com/all-star/2014/news/article/2014/08/07/mls-2-bayern-munich-1-att-mls-all-star-game-recap PORTLAND, Ore. – In the end, Landon Donovan got the last laugh. The 14-time MLS All-Star came back to haunt the club that jettisoned him after just a few months of a failed 2009 loan appearance with the game-winning goal Wednesday for a 2-1 win over Bayern Munich in the 2014 AT&T; MLS All-Star Game. The 70th-minute strike came after Bayern’s Robert Lewandowski and All-Star Bradley Wright-Phillips traded goals on opposite ends of halftime, highlighting a match in which MLS ...
