Up the Hills; Down the Valley - new film about minority women living with HIV in Vietnam

La and Tương, two indigenous women of Tai ethnicity from a mountainous area in the northwest of Vietnam, are living with HIV. The film documents their story - from the brink of death after infection by their drug-addicted husbands, through to their blossoming, with the encouragement of a local support group, as strong, independent women who earn a living and support their families.
