Anyways, on to the meat.

As BCL mentioned yesterday, the Canadian Bar Association, representing roughly 37,000 lawyers, has come out in support of Section 13 of the Canadian Human Rights Act. Given this reality, calling the CHRT a "kangaroo court" might be a bit misplaced, but that likely won't stop the speechies from continuing to do so.

In other Section 13 news, a number of interested parties (The League for Human Rights of B'Nai Brith Canada, Canadian Jewish Congress and Friends of Simon Wiesenthal Centre for Holocaust Studies) have submitted Notice of Motion and the Written Representations of the Proposed Intervenors to the Federal Court in the judicial review of Section 13 pertaining to the recent Lemire ruling:


Looks like things are becoming interesting.
